A Caelo Ad Terram.
For centuries the Protectorate have been the stalwart defenders of humanity’s ventures through the Orion Arm, guarding against enemies foreign and domestic of the United Earth Spheres. As humanity’s galactic infrastructure teeters on the brink of collapse over a deficit of the resource “flux,” the Protectorate brings honed tactics and heavy firepower to bear. Field veteran commandos to deep strike enemy positions, or bring the heavy firepower of your mech divisions to break enemy lines.
Grow. Expand. Exterminate.
The Grell are a tide of highly evolved plant-like creatures that spawn sites of raw flux crystals through the galaxy, and humanity’s first contact with alien life. As external powers dive deeper into exploiting flux for faster than light travel, the once passive Grell have begun to flood across worlds, wiping out those who would threaten their biosphere. Expand your blooms by spreading the roots of your biomass across the battlefield, and rip apart your enemies with twisted evolutions from the acidic Harbinger to the rampaging Reaver.
Across a Million Worlds, We March.
The Legion of Truth are a fanatical empire from beyond the reaches of known space, devoted to their Emperor and a pantheon of god-like beings. Their armies crusade across the cosmos, bringing all in their path under the Idals, and purging those unwilling or unable to accept the voice. Drown your enemies with waves of expendable Thralls and Fanatics, and break your enemy under the treads of the titanic Terror Tank, a mobile fortress that can reconfigure with the tide of battle.
For Purpose. For Survival.
The Xol are civilization of autonomous robotic consciousness, brought to the brink of extinction by the dark crusade of the Legion. Though fiercely individualistic, they are united by one imperative: survival. As the tide of annihilation turns against them, the Xol will bring the most advanced robotics technology in the galaxy to bear, wield the accumulated genius of their society, and wipe out all who threaten their future.

Enjoying this game requires you to pretend that StarCraft 2 doesn't exist. I was able to do that, and I thoroughly enjoyed 1v1 PvP and Vs AI modes. I hope that the dev team succeed and thrive because the bones of a great RTS are here. Given another year or two of active development it could even be a modern action-RTS classic. What's great: - The 1v1 gameplay has a really nice flow. Games open with skirmishes around control points, then escalate into early pressure and establishing strong economies, then into the mid-late game with big army clashes. - The versus mode has a lot of units with interesting abilities, some factions with bizzare core mechanics, and a good roster of factions and subfactions. - Control, pathfinding, and micro are satisfying and responsive. - It's a well thought out evolution of the action-rts genre. Base management exists, but is fairly stripped back while leaving plenty of room to explore strategy, builds, and unit compositions. - The AI is challenging and lots of fun to play against Here's what I think will probably improve in the next months: - The menus and UI are full of bugs and jank - Units behaving in immersion-breaking ways, huge units clipping into each other, tanks and airships spinning on a dime, units floating slighly above the ground, etc - The game overall just feels absurdly fast. There are very few slow units in the game and plenty of extremely fast ones. In the late game, armies sprint across the map like everyone is wearing rollerskates. It looks silly, and it's just unreasonably quick and hard to control. RTS is a genre where traditionally everyone cranked the speed up to fastest, but zerospace is jumping the shark here. But there are some things which I think probably won't improve: - The game runs on UE5 and requires decent specs to play. It stutters from time to time on my middling setup. - Multiplayer queue times are looooong... I wait an average of 5 minutes for a 1v1 match. It's very rare to have a game that's not one-sided with few people in the queue. The game will probably always have a small online playerbase and long queue times unless they decide to give multiplayer away for free.

GG grell played
I played mostly 1v1 and 2v2 PvP. AS for an early access I am sattisfied with what game provided for it's value. Matches are interesting and mechanics are good. Would be better with bigger playerbase, but still playeble even now.
This game is truly amazing. Mock my words its gonna kill SC2 even more then it already is outside of the BIG scene of tournys
All i can say is if you like rts titles like starcraft and C&C with a dash of supreme commander this game is kind of all of that. I've been a starcraft loyalist since the game was released in the 90s! and this is exactly what i needed being i no longer want to support blizzard. fantastic game give it a shot you wont regret it if you truely enjoy a good rts game.
Overall I'm very impressed with the 1v1 experience. I have not touched campaign. The game has taken many innovations that others have tried and failed at and combines them together in a unique way. The XP towers, faction levels, mercenary choices, and hero unit choice all make it feel like there's a lot of decision making outside of the already complicated plethora of RTS build orders, unit relationships, macro / micro, etc. There are many accessibility options to make the game easier to play for folks new to the genre, and customizable options for guys like me who have been playing RTS games since the 90's to tweak our UI and inputs to just how we want it. Overall, I'm having a blast learning the races and coming up with build orders, studying my replays, and watching myself get slowly better. It's scratching that competitive itch, has fast turnaround rates, and definitely fills me with the "just one more game" mindset keeping me going!
Really enjoying the direction of the campaign so far.
