About

Dive into the heart of survival and human ingenuity with Zero Factory, a unique survival game that blends magic and technology in an open world that is corrupted and constantly evolving.
In Zero Factory, every stone, every blade of grass, and every drop of water can be the key to your survival. Manage your thirst and hunger, cultivate the land, raise livestock, and build shelters to protect yourself from the elements. But survival doesn’t stop there. Your world is alive and reactive, filled with secrets, dangers, and monsters drawn to mystical catalysts. These promise rewards while also posing deadly risks. Your ability to defend your domain and take advantage of these events can make the difference between prosperity and downfall.
Help restore a forgotten village from its ruins and bring it back to life step by step. The more you rebuild, the more new residents will come to settle, each with their own trade and unique skills. The lumberjack will cut and store wood, the mechanic will improve your machines, while other NPCs will bring their own functionalities.
Little by little, you will shape a lively and functional village where each inhabitant contributes to your progression and to the prosperity of your world in Zero Factory.
The beating heart of Zero Factory lies in its sophisticated and evolving machinery. As you progress, you will unlock and master a range of complex machines that will transform survival into a symphony of industrial efficiency.
Metal Furnaces: Transform raw ores into pure metal, laying the foundation for your technological rise.
Alloy Furnaces: Combine metals to create powerful and valuable alloys, essential for advanced structures.

==Final Update== Moved my initial vote. The dev was lighting fast to answer. I didnt expect that you do that. Feedback is never meant in a bad way. Feedback is on the one Hand for the gamer to spend the Money Right but also for devs to enable them to create a better expierence. Well I played the Game now for >16 hours and sure it is an early access. After the nice Dev feedback I rewrote my first feedback. My target is never to say anything bad or personal. # What was good? - The Idea and game play were pretty nice. - Nice world and a good open world - Price is really good # What was not so good? -Most annonying: -The Help Quest doesnt really help me at the Right time. -It cant see that i did something. Like in other games. -In some games you get a Chance to skip parts. What in an Open world makes total sense. F.i. I just killed a pic Long before and had some Equipment or even better. But it Forces me to do it again. Else i get not the info that i might Need to go on. At some Point i got no 10 runners to kill... -Another Mission was later that i bring ore to the guy on the winter Island/sphere. But i already did trade with him. I sold him stuff to get a lot Money and i was buying ore. Also that is not recognized. At some Point wenn Event X ist wanted. It should check first if there was an Event x before. But it Looks only for the next Event x. -I think a help triggered by the first time you do something is better. And Maybe an easy way to read some stuff later hard during Combat to get this help. -Like in many surviving games the water, food indicators are going down way to fast. ->Better would be the Food/water consumption in the beginning maybe depending of an XP component? So if someone reaches XP Level xxxx it goes up? -In general. If I see those "Food" & "water" (…) indicators, I have a strong reason to think twice about buying the game. It is always not fun. -You start nearly naked in a game and get right after some Min get attacked and killed. Would it be nice to just learn something about the game first before i get attacked? Maybe wait until someone invented clothes 😉 And starting on the Island/sphere with the most ennemies closeby is also not the best way to learn how the game works. -Some online content on youtube might be not helpful because they where made way before the current state. But it also Shows my Feeling after 16 Hours of extensive game Play. Most of the time you search for a rare ore to built something that Needs exactly that ore. After you found it... it gets very fast boring. So no more new stuff? And it so not so that there could be more stuff to create. Why? There is one eletrical lamp to choose from. In most other games of this genre you can choose of dozens from Seeling, wand and so on. -The wiring inside a house is Pretty uncool. And the wires visible after having to go from outside somewhere to power my lamp. It also goes out automatically. Also like the Wall torches. Why cant we choose it? It was Pretty dark even during daytime and i had only window walls. -The sleeping or waking Animation might be Buggy. Once he was like a Baby on the Floor and i could not get him up. And this was after i tryed to wake him. -The Energy weapon Auto target System is a Pretty nice idea. It works for the runners (seems not to Count for the quest) but not that good for the animals. Or the flying red Thing. -I never got any pink Crystal after i killed the big boss enemy 3-4 times. I saw it on this back and after he is killed there was Nothing on the Floor. Also ores disappear to quick. And if you are on a hill the heavy Thing will still roll to the end and beyond. Not very likely Physics. -A destroyed wall cant be replace or repaired with the repair tool. Even when i remove everything around it and rebuilt anything. No Chance. A once breached wall stays open. Maybe the production table was to close? I built around it. -I finally got the mk2 smelter working for my Titanium. That was a real Problem and i could say i did something different, but i didnt. But today it worked. And i got another update Right before i started. Topics from the first Version of my review: #1 E-Key Issue explaint and I found a workaround: The E-Key Issue could be reduced to an issue that stayed even after reboot when you use Controller (xbox steam) and Keyboard at the same time. So f.i. use cable to built some cable and than after the cable is connected you might want to something else. "Cable" on my nr. 6 on Keyboard is still the current one. And now try to open anything with the "e" key that it offers you. You cant! Remove the cable from quick Slot nr 6 and leave it empty and reselect it. And now try again. Now you can open the box again. Also everything else that can be used with a key. So running around is still nicer with a Controller. Steam offer this for all games even if it is not supported. But doing some Things like Opening a box or something like it that can be done faster with a Keyboard key. In many games the Controller support switches automatically. In that Special case i was trying to lay cables and needed quick more of one item so i went back to the box and...ooooopen...noooo. I could not open. I seems also to be a bit a Problem with the quick Panel. If i switch to an empty one activate and deactivate it mostly accept the key again. Or the other Workaround was to use the "B" Key on the Controller. So Kind of my fault because i Play like i Play. That this happened the first time after the update was by chance. For someone who Play nearly everything with Controller and Keyboard it was really annoying. Even some Basic function seem not to work just because of this hick hack between quick Access numbers after making that Slot empty and reselect you can use your "keys" again. #2 World Settings. I never saw/noticed any world creation Settings and i just installed and started it and maybe there was a phone call and i didnt pause. I just prefer to be attacked when i already have my pant on... ;-) # Last thoughts: I am at the Point where i cant get more fun out of the game. I found Titan and Sulfur and after that i had anything that could led to more fun in my Hands. Like i wrote Above i think that there are still to limited items. One pistol. One eletrical lamp. Maybe there isnt that much time anymore to invent new stuff? Or bring the nhc´s (non-human character) to do more. Maybe get an army of soldiers created? Such Things make an game Always better. And even if it was not perfect. Better than a static map with some random Buildings. # My last conclusion: Good value for money. A great deal of passion and devotion from the dev. At the moment most can be used without help till a certain point. The later you are in the game some Functions are not good explained. Maybe with a way to skip certain quest Maybe fix some of it?
Edit: The Developer is very responsive and has already addressed many of the issues that I was having and I have been assured many more fixes are on the way. I would give this more time and I think it is going to be a hit. The game is very rough. It is not enjoyable right now with enemies and animals disappearing while fighting. Crafting tasks are not clear and the workbench needs to be on foundation but shows green when you try to set it down in the world. Very rough early stages. I can not recommend at this time.
Amazing game! You get pulled into the atmosphere right from the start, thanks to a well-designed tutorial that’s perfect for players with little survival experience. The game is rich in resources and very well put together. There are a few minor bugs, but nothing major. The developer clearly understands the survival concept and releases frequent updates to continuously improve the gameplay. Overall rating: 8.6/10, with the potential to go even higher as future updates roll out! Highly recommended. 🎮🔥
Insane!!
