Positive Aspects
🔹Good Looking Visuals. 🔹Basic yet very solid realism. 🔹Nice tracks. 🔹Driver costumization.
Negative Aspects
🔸Only Time Trial at them moment ( Early Access ). 🔸Kerbs + Car = Destruction.
Introduction
ZEROCAR: Future Motorsport is a futuristic Racing SIM with Electric race cars in the future that can achieve speeds of 500km/h. The Game was developed and published by EVIL GAMES and is currently in Early Access.

Gameplay:
Mechanics: You can select 4 different Racecar classes, all of them are purely electric and have a top speed of 420 km/h and more. Every Racecar behaves differently, the Hypercar is obviously the most difficult because of the top speed and the fact that you barely get traction with that ( In the highest difficulty ), so i would suggest to either start with the intermediate difficulty or perhaps try a slower car out. I am going to focus on Intermediate and the highest difficulty ( Z ) . The Racecars react pretty realistically considering the power output, you get lighting fast acceleration but because of these torque numbers you easily lose traction while turning and cornering. Now i did not quite make out what type of cars these are but my guess would be AWD which matches the future, but it would still be a nice addition to add a RWD car in the future. Now the damage model is on my opinion very good for what type of game this is, when you crash you will see visual damage which a lot of triple A Sims do not posses, obviously this isn't mechanical damage or not even damage to the aerodynamics but it is still a nice addition. Lastly i like the addition of leaderboards which sort you between some good drivers after each completed lap, I was decent at most as i got a good amount of top 5 and top 10 lap times. Tracks & Costumization: I really loved the Tracks this game has, they are perfect for these futuristic cars with Short lanes and many high speed corners which can be tricky in some situations. And they are all in different locations and all of them have different tactics, in some laps it is actually even a good idea to ''drift'' as it would give you a better exit speed. Another great addition is the fact that you can make your driver look unique, despite not seeing him it is a nice addition, and with that you gain Experience points which gives you a unique rank which is just another addition that i really liked.

Graphics/ Audio:
Graphics: The Graphics look very nice, obviously not triple A quality but they still look great to me, the fact that they added Interior cameras shows how much work they have put into it. Lighting is basic same as particles but the textures and car models look pretty attractive. The game even has a Photo Mode which can give you some pretty cool Screenshots like these ones I made: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1654306753 Audio/Soundtrack: The Audio is actually what you expect from an electric car, you do not hear anything, which means that i cannot report much here sadly.

Performance :
On Low End Devices: Intel Core i5 5200U, 6GB RAM, Intel HD 5500: Probably doesn't run. On High End Devices: Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 1070: I was running the Game on Maxed out settings with +60fps on 1080p resolution. The Game was first Tested with a regular XBOX One controller and everything worked perfectly, you even get to change some settings like sensitivity etc. After that i tested the game with my Thrustmaster T150 wheel and i got the same results. Bugs/ Glitches/ Crashes: Now i do not know if its a Glitch or a Bug but when you touch the Kerbs with your car is some corners even at low speeds you get launched in the air. Other than that i had no crashes or any Gamebreaking bugs and glitches in 5 hours of Electric driving.

Price :
For 8,99 Eur. you get a game with amazing potential in my opinion.

Conclusion :
The Game is pretty slim on content, you only drive by youself which isn't really amazing but I am sure that the devs are going to add all the other modes and it will turn out to be one great game in my opinion, you can really see that there is a lot of work behind this game. its basically wipeout with cars. really potential here please dont let this game fail support the developer
Huge potential, already better in many ways than this joke of a game xenon racer. Kinda funny that a single dev game is better than a game made by a whole team. Support this awesome single developer project, buy the game ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ078uul6SA The game foundations are great, nice graphics, good sense of speed, drifting feels good. Can't wait for more content, improvement in gameplay and more race modes. Edit 23/06/2020: Looks like the dev abandoned the project, if there's no update by the end of 2020, i will change this review to negative. I don't want to spew out a review having played less than two hours (1.2 at the time of this edit) but this game reminds me a lot of the classic Ridge Racer games. It has more content than its price allows it too, it's fun and competitive, but most importantly, it is FUN. It has only a few minor UI bugs relating to lap counting but other than that it works like a charm.
Now this is how you do Early Access: The foundation for a great game is already there and with six courses and three cars there's enough content to keep you busy for a while, especially if you like time attacking. With the initial discount it almost feels like stealing from the developer. The game's an arcade racer with a futuristic look to the vehicles, but they are still cars and not anti-gravity vehicles. The cars control very smoothly, and initiating a drift is as easy as turning into the corner hard enough. There are three speed classes, and even the first one feels fast, but the first time you try out the Z Class it's like the car's got a perpetual nitro boost. While in the first speed class you can get through quite a few corners at full speed with zero to minimal drifting if your line is good enough, in the fastest class that's just not going to happen. You will need to slow down, initiate a controlled oversteer and be really careful with your racing line, otherwise the car will hit the wall, or bump off a rock and launch off into space. The damage is, at least for now, only cosmetic. In a surprising but very welcome turn of events the game has not only circuit races, but point-to-point rally courses as well, with pacenotes and everything. Switzerland's snowy, narrow mountain track can take over 10 minutes to complete, so the player's concentration is really tested there. The Early Access release suffered some minor hiccups in the form of leaderboards not always updating, but for the most part the game has been technically very solid and stable. At this point most of my gripes are about the menu UI, which requires a mouse and isn't laid out as well as it could be. I'm sure those will be improved. The racing itself is fun and fast, and hopefully will become even deeper as the game develops. Once the game hits full release, I'll update this review accordingly.

Well, time for a review. First of all, let's talk about the bad things in this game. The most disturbing one was the physics -- It looks like, that the race cars have no downforce at all and slide constantly. Too much oversteer at every single moment -- real cars don't go like that. At the same time, the car is literally glued to the surface, unless it crashes, which is quite disturbing, too. The sound is quite boring, so to speak. Of course, it shows how the cars of the future would sound, but come on, we have the coolest sounds of Formula-E racers, why not to use them? And of course, the sound of the crash is a literal earrape, no doubt about that. And finally, the graphics. Duh, that's quite obvious, since it's the pre-release, but still, screenshots really don't match the actual game. On the bright side I can see a fast-paced gameplay with magnificently designed cars and neck-breaking speeds. Though, the graphics and the physics couldn't let me enjoy every single bit of the game, I was actually quite pleased. As a professional race car driver myself, I liked the tutorial -- it's actually so informative and realistic in explaining the basics of race car driving, I bet it couldn't be better. I liked the tracks -- they are beutifully designed, though lack a bit of an actual racing spirit. They look more like test tracks of motor companies to me. And most of all, I liked the speed. Only if the cars had more grip -- that driving experience would be perfect.
A tragic waste of enormous potential. This game has the BEST HANDLING MODEL I'VE EVER SEEN IN ANY RACING GAME. Seriously, just the driving feels amaaaaaaaazing. The cars have the perfect balance of weight and agility you want in a futuristic racing game. Unfortunately those great physics don't apply to the collisions. If you ever even scratch a wall you're liable to go exploding into the air and lose it all. This COULD have been fixed and this game could have been the best on the market, but the dev has abandoned the game. RIP
