About

Brilliant, burnt-out, possibly cursed – you play as operant Hershel Wilk, alias CASCADE. Five years ago you led your team into the abyss and have been haunted by your failures ever since. Now you've been recalled for a mysterious assignment that may give you a chance to prove yourself again.

Uncover secrets hidden in the lost corners of the city and within your own mind. Navigate a murky world of potential informants and adversaries. Pass skill checks to uncover their true motivations through subterfuge, violence, or deduction. As an operant, there are multiple ways to approach every problem - your choices and methods will be your own, and so will the consequences.

Find yourself thrown into a three-way struggle for cultural and ideological power, played out across an unforgettable city. You'll go up against international bankers, foreign techno-fascists, psychic doppelgängers, a paranoid TV presenter, a man with a box for a heart, and dozens more. Everyone you meet has their own agendas, beliefs, and secrets for you to uncover and turn to your own ends. In ZERO PARADES, even the world itself is a character with its own secrets, traumas, and miracles for you to discover.

Operants subject themselves to years of psychological training to hone their minds into their greatest weapons. Do you favor animal-like reflexes, a philosophical approach, or a different cover story for every occasion? Through Conditioning, you'll turn the deepest aspects of Hershel's identity into potent abilities and unlock new paths forward. You can even change the rules of the game itself.

Pressures simulate the physical and psychological toll of being in-theatre. Exertion pushes dice rolls in your favour – just remember that you’re gambling with your life. Keep your Fatigue, Anxiety, and Delirium in check or deal with the long-term repercussions.

In this line of work you're going to fail way more often than you succeed. That much is expected of you. What matters is how you pick yourself back up. If the dice don't go your way (and they won't) you'll have to improvise and hope the consequences are ones you can live with.

To all the people wanting a disco elysium replacement, this is what you're looking for. a fantastic experience that builds upon its predecessor and makes a wonderful fulfilling game. DE I played multiple times towards teh same ending, Zero Parades has me wondering how to get different endings immediately. Peak peak peak, GOTY 2026
Overall I liked it, a strong 7/10, worth playing if you like these types of games. A lot of the art, writing and voice acting is very good and a few of the gameplay mechanics have been improved since Disco Elysium, like the choice based “action” scenes. The best part for me was the art direction and the impressive strong feeling of loneliness the game brings out. The main characters' old crew are all really excellent, it's a shame you don’t spend more time with them, where a lot of the side characters are more hit and miss for me. For me the 2 biggest flaws are 1: The main character's voice is awful, it's unpleasant and monotone, with a huge amount of text it often made me space out and I lost focus, so it took me a long time to like and understand the main character. 2: You don't have a companion like Kim with you to balance out the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the main character is, which also makes the world, lore and politics a lot harder for me to understand. The politics and terminology are more confusing and I had a harder time understanding the world then with Disco, a codex would have really helped here. A lot of people seem to think the new health system is better, but I just thought it was needless busy work and it forces you to drink and take drugs, so it's not a narrative choice and I did not enjoy that, but it's not a big problem. Most of its problems are that it is just not as good as Disco Elysium, but if you don't expect it to be, it has a lot to offer, and I think its worth the price and as a piece of art it stands strong as its own thing, I just wish I liked it more.

It’s not Disco, but it doesn’t have to be. Game is great and a fantastic entry into Noncombat crpgs. Luck and Skill
This game is so funny! I find myself laughing out loud all the time while playing.
I am a huge fan of Disco Elysium, so with all the controversy around the creator and this studio, I was cautious at first. After about 30 hours of playtime and in the middle of the final act. I gotta say this is every bit as amazing as Disco, there are new mechanics that I love, game looks beautiful even on my crumby ROG Ally, and the writing is packed with absurdity and personality.
im usually into faster games, but having a blast with this
Absolutely thrilled that the devs of the previous game were fired, disco elysium was full of weird anti-white racist undertones and had absolutely zero redeeming factors. was a slog of a game. This game so far doesnt force me to read retarded rambling monologues by extreme leftists trying to force their weird world views and self hatred upon the gamer. i would buy this game ten times if i could refund disco elysium
