Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga

Very good intense fast paced combat action game,even more fun than modern games.

You see my avatar? thats how i love this series of games hahaha Thank you so much to remaster this game, great improvement Please do more "remaster" to other games, especially to Ys 1 and 2, Falghana, Napishtim, Seven XD

イースvs空の軌跡オルタナティブサーガ。 RPG要素もある格闘ゲームというファルコムの異色作。 PSP版をファルコム通販で買い一応全クリまでしています。本ソフトは購入直後です。 「なんで今頃オルサガ？」なんて思うのですが、空の軌跡1st発売のタイミングなので良いといえばよいのでしょう（SCクリアしてないとネタバレだらけですが）。 大きく進化した点は解像度とFPS向上。 PSPの解像度で目が疲れるぐらいだったものを高解像度でプレイする快感というものはこれはこれで良いものだと思います。（うちは2K、180Hzです） 戦闘システムはイースVIIのシステムなので古臭さは否めませんが、あの当時はお祭りゲーブームだったのでこれはこれで…という感じで楽しんでましたね。 結局のところ「ゲームはただのおまけです」というファルコムファンにとって忌まわしきフレーズと同じ感じになったお祭りゲーでもあります。 当時から私は「Falcom Special Box 2010」って呼んでるぐらいでしたけどね。 レベルを上げればそれなりに楽しめるでしょうし、一応ネットワークモードなどもあるようなので、購入者がたくさんいればある程度は盛り上がるのでは？と思います。

This game is great would like a full 3d version with the later game series

Only a few minutes in and I can already say this seems to be a quality release. Visually speaking, it's not perfect since some artworks look a bit odd on a big screen, and the game's PSP roots do show especially in 3D models. However, assets still got an obvious upgrade and the remaster apparently targets 4K, so it looks good on modern displays. Plus actual fights are in 3D, and thankfully the internal resolution isn't locked at something that would make it blurry. Gameplay-wise, I trust it to play the exact same as the PSP version but at 60 fps and with added features (including online with rollback netcode). Note that I haven't played the original, but this style of game seems harder to actually mess up than something like 2D fighting games that heavily rely on frame data. Do I like the game? Kind of, as someone who has yet to play Falcom games this is more of a curiosity release than anything to me. It's pretty fun but kind of janky, and I think it's a bit expensive for the little I might end up playing it. But considering there seems to be proper care and effort in the port/remaster at all levels, it's the kind of release I want to support regardless.

An excellent port of a fun, easy to learn fighting game, full of nods to classic Falcom games which will delight any fan! Huge thanks to refint/games for their great work in finally bringing Alternative Saga to the west.
