Yousei

[h1] Genre [/h1] Eine kurze Murder Mystery Visual Novel [h1] Story [/h1] Wir spielen auch hier im Dritten Teil wieder den Protagonisten Kangai. Nach den Ereignissen was im Vorgänger Spiel passiert ist, gehen wir gemeinsam mit unserem Freunden/Kollegen undercover an einer Uni um mehr über unsere Vergangenheit herauszufinden. Dies wird uns aber ziemlich schnell erschwert aufgrund eines Mordes den wir nun aufklären müssen [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Auch dieser Teil ist wieder sehr kurz und auch relativ simpel gehalten, was ja nichts schlechtes ist. Wir lesen uns wieder durch die Geschichte und haben natürlich auch hier wieder die Möglichkeit von Raum zu Raum (oder auch von Ort zu Ort via Map) zu gehen um diese zu Untersuchen oder um mit anderen Leuten zu sprechen und Fragen zu verschiedenen Themen zu stellen. Die Grafik und auch das Gameplay an sich hat man hier weiter gut verbessert und alles wirkt nochmal aufpolierter und moderner. Das Voice Acting ist auch hier wieder sehr gut gelungen [h1] Achievement Schwierigkeit 2/10 [/h1] Es gibt insgesamt nur 3 Erfolge. Hierfür muss man 2 Endings (True & Bad) gesehen haben und am Anfang des Spiels sich entscheiden eine Brille zu tragen [h1] Pro/Contra [/h1] + Gute Story + Spannend + Grafik & Gameplay wurden nochmals etwas verbessert + Gutes Voice Acting + Achievements [h1] Fazit [/h1] Auch der Dritte Teil verbessert nochmal ein bisschen was in allen Bereichen und macht das ganze moderner. Auch der Grafikstil sieht meiner Meinung nach nochmal etwas besser aus als im Vorgänger. Die Story ist auch hier wieder sehr gut gemacht und spannend. Ich hoffe ja das wir noch einen weiteren Teil bekommen (oder auch gerne mehrere) damit die Geschichte fortgesetzt wird und man mehr Antworten bekommt. Mir hat die Trilogie im allgemeinen sehr gut gefallen und ich möchte gerne mehr aus diesem Universum sehen. Yousei is the third installment in the Jisei series, and it’s the best so far. The writing feels very well thought out, and the different routes all add something truly unique to the story. Our favorite voice actors return to reprise their roles – we get to see Chance again! Yousei adds many new features such as a map to fast travel to different places and optional glasses (yay!) for all the characters. However, it raises many questions, and I can’t wait to finally get answers in a fourth installment.

The third game in the series, Yousei’s story is longer and the cast is bigger than the previous entries, with the same quality writing as the other two. The graphics are clean and more refined, the soundtrack is nice and many of the voice actors that had some of their earliest roles with this series are now recognizable names in the business. The two routes have just a few different scenes, nothing too dramatic, and yet drastic different finales. Currently the creator is working on the forth game, Shinsei, so hopefully we will have even more answers to this story.

I loved that game. The story arch is interesting at each new game we learn a bit more of the mythology. I love the character design and the multiple endings. I know it is a totally different universe but this can't help me but think of the TV Show Fringe. You have mad scientists and industrialists. who have experimented on children. I don't want many answers until the 4rth game but I am pretty sure Kangai is the result of an experiment. I love the universe please make more games (but that your time :) )

[b]Yousei[/b] - third and last game from [b]SakeVisual[/b] showing the story of Kangai and the „psychic detective gang” solving various mysteries. This time around they go undercover as students in a University to investigate protagonist’s history, but due to other events the initial plan gets derailed. Part 3 showcases the biggest group of characters from all the 3 games, which makes sense considering in first events took place in coffee house, in second a mansion, and here we’re dealing with University and it’s campus. And speaking of characters, they definitely received a visual glow-up in Yousei. There are also interesting elements to use, which you might have seen in others Visual Novels – mobile phone, notes. Alongside all of that the length of the game also increased again. Part 2 (Kansei) was longer than part 1 (Jisei), and Yousei also gives more reading material. Following with that we get to learn more about characters themselves. All in all Yousei, just like it’s prequels is worth a play. [b]Li Mei best girl! It feels a little bit weird playing three games in a row, and since these games took a lot of time to update, the art style totally change and its a bit amusing to see the three games has kind of different art style. Not something bad, though. I like Yousei's art style. A little bit disappointed this game still not finish, though. I didnt read carefully and I thought it was a trilogy when purchasing and now I dont know when will the fourth part will come... I hope it will done soon. As for the game Yousei itself, it was a fun play. More endings to approach was fun, and the story just make you want to know more. Also you know, even though I find it fun to solve the killer mystery, I wouldn't mind a title with no murder and more of approaching the main story itself. I just hope I will see this series come to end before I forget everything.

So, the 3rd game is finished too! I like this. Totally recommend. For me personally, this part was the hardest but also the most interested. We, finally, have more understand of the situations: of "agency", main character and the story itself. But! There are still so much to know. I really want the next part! Also, some more pros about this novel: - more characters this time, and more locations; - new mechanics were also added, like phone, notes etc; - the drawing style is leveled up! Really nice. I like it; - new facts/stories about the main characters, like Li Mei, Twins and Kangai; - a longer story this time; - open ending, which mean we can hope for one more game! I, personally, hope for more than one. In short, its a quite nice game. Through, it was harder to got all the endings this time, it was still fun. Recommend.

Intrigue continues off loose threads... PROS: The game continues the feel of an actual mystery, and continues to get better with each title. Seemingly doing away with the negatives of the last title, this comes across as a much more polished story. With all that added, it actually ends on a bit of a mystery that, hopefully, will come to a satisfying conclusion at the next title. CONS: Some of the game's early points can come across a little slow, especially if one is attempting to aim for the CG's. And even though it was brought up as a positive, the ending can still be docked for the very clear cliffhanger ending, leaving many plot threads open, and taking what was a better story than the previous titles, and giving it a real negative mark for feeling unfinished at the end. ACHIEVEMENTS: A simple 3, going for a good and bad ending, with a goofy little variable in the beginning for the last. FINAL: This title did everything better than the last game in the story, with it's only real drawback tripping at the finish line with an unsatisfying ending and no real answers given to the main character's abilities. It does receive a recommendation regardless, but that ending is just something to keep in mind.
