Cute platformer with witty dialog that likes to break the 4th wall.
Nefasto.
I don't mind this Yooka Laylee game, after putting some thought into it, it's not as bad as what it seems, might not be one of the greats of Banjo-Kazooie as the bear & bird game, Playtonic are also the same people who are under the influence of Rare & probably knows how to mechanically craft their game on their developing computers, In Yooka Laylee there are many collectables such as Paige's the main collectables kinda like Stars off the Super Mario games like 64 & Galaxy as examples, Quills that are also another source of collectables on the landscape but less important than Paige's, find them all in one area & you'll get a Paige, anyway the main goal of this game is to find most of the Paige's but if you can find them all & fully complete the game by all means congratulations plus defeat Yooka Laylee's nemesis Capital B being the Gruntilda of Banjo Kazooie in this game which is similar. Above everything it's a good platformer & pretty much does well on how you move, some people may find the controls rather clunky at first, the more you get used to it, the more you can get adapted to it, can recommend this game if you like the platformers & the collecting side to things plus a fan of Banjo & Kazooie in the old days of Nintendo of Nintendo 64 when Rare knew what it had until Banjo Kazooie became a part & probably sold to the likes of Microsoft & their Xbox's, miss that game on Nintendo's side of things but never mind, it's another Recommendation.
very good
Kinda disappointing...does not control very well
It's an enjoyable 3d platformer collectathon. The movement is a little clunky in places, but overall design is competent. I've recently played the remake of this and think this is probably the more fun version, especially if you're into sequence breaking and/or speedrunning. All the hours are from me and my friend speedrunning and playing bingo using a randomizer.
Great OLD style game. Feels a bit baron in alot of levels but fun nonetheless!
