For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

This is a neat game, very well made, just long enough to let it's mystery fully unfold. The characters are nice, both thier banter and their more serious background is decently written. Felt some of the reveals were hinted at way too heavily, to the point of being obvious, but the last twist was good and unexpected for me. Highly recommend if you want a shorter well-made mystery VN!
Definitely one for Zero Escape and Danganronpa fans. There's not really any traditional puzzle solving but getting all the achievements requires a bit of lateral thinking and the plot comes together nicely by the end

A bit short for the price (around 6 hours to reach all endings), But still a very solid VN with an interesting mystery and memorable characters
Honestly it was pretty good, always managed to surprise me.
I was initially just going to check this game out because of a discussion I saw regarding Fanganronpas, but I unexpectedly ended up binging the whole game in a single evening. The title is actually quite misleading, with the game playing much more like Raging Loop or Chäos;Head than any of the Danganronpa games, and that is DEFINETELY to this game's benefit. The moment-to-moment writing is better and more succinct; the characters are better written, with all of them getting more than one personality trait each; and the twist(s) ACTUALLY MAKE SENSE! There is a lot that goes unexplained and some conclusions are only hinted at by the game's characters, but that is *not* to its detriment. YAKG keeps intrigue throughout its runtime and does not overstay its welcome. I cried at the ending, and it was well-earned. The game's main deficits are that its mechanics are poorly explained in the first Act (some button mappings for controller are literally wrong in the tutorial). As well, the investigation minigames are a little annoying on controller. It's fine with a keyboard+mouse, but on controller it would be easier to investigate the items you wanted to if the game had a cursor like Ace Attorney. All in all, I would highly recommend this game for people who like Mysteries, Visual Novels, or Mystery Visual Novels. I would (ironically) not recommend this game for people who are just looking for Yet Another Killing Game. P.S. Some advice: Do not do what I did! Take a break after each Act (Part as they're called in-game), the pacing needs that bit of breathing room. As well, the tutorial claims that progression necessitates reloading of saves, but it's just wrong. Bad ends automatically reload you to the start of the Act, with the game's automatic reloads being required in order to progress into the next Act, NOT reloading to a player-made save file. P.P.S. Oriana can GET IT she is SO GAY and I LOVE her. I canNOT wait to make a VA mod and I cannot WAIT to voice her.
Picked this game up on a whim, not really sure entirely what to expect. I'm glad I did. The story is surprisingly deep and layered, far more than it seems at first, and the integration of the game mechanics and plotline is absolutely fantastic. Can't really say more in relation to that without spoiling some of said plot, but suffice to say that the design and concept were imaginative and well structured, clearly a labour of love. The music and artwork within the game are excellent, with a good variety of music that's fitting to the scenes its used in and works effectively to heighten the emotions that developer sought to evoke in each scene. Likewise, the art is good, with the characters and backgrounds drawn well to convey emotions and reactions while maintaining a strong anime aesthetic. With that said, the game does contain many themes that might upset people, most especially violence and death/loss, but also animal death and mentions of domestic violence. However, if these themes won't trouble you, I recommend giving 'Yet Another Killing Game' a shot.
Loved this a lot and happy to get this on sale! I enjoyed the characters and the story with the plot twists and such. Highly recommend for those who enjoy Danganronpa!
Pretty decent 5hr long VN - It's a little shorter than I want it to be, but the pacing is perfect. The characters are well written, it's easy to grow attached to them through the course of the playthrough. I liked how you're allowed to rewind to a previous decision if you make the wrong choice so I didn't have to stress about managing a ton of save files. I also enjoyed how you can examine several items more than once to obtain more information, which is fun and novel, and not something I've previously experienced in games like this. Music and art are both great, story felt rewarding and well developed, other players compared this game to Danganronpa because of the killing game aspect, but this reminded me more of Cooking Companions than DR. If the devs made another game with a larger cast I would be extremely mega interested. I loved this game, but it's very easy to finish within one session which is a small drawback for me. Still, It's enjoyable, I'd definitely recommend it, I think if you like visual novels with interactive detective elements you'll also enjoy Yet Another Killing Game.
