In its best moments, Yerba Buena can be a lot of fun. You can really tell there was a lot of passion in this project. unfortunately though, the lack of polish can be extremely distracting. My biggest gripe is that the puzzle elements often blend into the environment. The scanning button does a decent job of making up for this, but I really hate spamming it just to get a grip of what i'm looking at. Also the more open ended puzzles were some of the least fun that this game had to offer. Despite all this, I wanted to leave a positive review because I think this game deservers more attention then its getting. Maybe wait for a sale though.
