Though it's still early, the game is definitely improving and gaining polish with every update, especially with the enemy balance. The starting enemy takes 2 sword hits to kill now which helps a lot lol. The map has been polished and looks quite nice now so I'm eager to see the other maps that are planned. For 2 bucks I can recommend this to anyone who has ever appreciated kobolds, Vampire Survivors, and/or games that are challenging but easy to jump into and don't require much thought. Hoping it gets achievements soon :>
Finally a game that lets you Scream on command as much as you want. Jokes aside a solid base for what could become another arcade style "survivors" classic, Fingers crossed they eventually add every sort of kobold "class" you can imagine, personally i'd like a shaman or inventor.
Very cute game that could turn into a great one if given time! It is currently in early access and has very limited content right now, but I can see myself enjoying this game more after some time in the oven. Yip!
Quite a few flaws and bugs, wouldn't recommend for now.
its fun with friends needs some work though

I just want to say that this game is in early development, but it's STILL pretty fun and definitely worth the $2 price tag - the yip button alone with friends is worth at *least* that much! yip yip yp yip ypiypy piypiypi y pypi yiip y pyiypiyipyipypypypiypiyipyypypiyipypypypypypyipyip

Yark Survivors has a spammable Yip Button, that already makes it worth way more than the $2 price tag. But aside of that, it's good for early access. It can be tough, but once you get a good feel for it (I've found AOE damage powerups like Arcane Disk and Lightning Storm are pretty effective, and a combination of even just a little block and regen plus getting good at dodging can help you stay alive pretty well), it's pretty fun! Haven't tried the co-op mode yet, but I'm imagining it'll be full of delightful yipping chaos when I get around to it.
TLDR: Can recommend. Funny little "(Vampire) survivors"-like game that you can play with friends onlne. As kobolds. There's a Yip-Yap button and a "Swear" button. There's also a dodge-roll button. Use them all. - It's not meant or made to glue you to your seat for hours of riveting gameplay but there's new characters and starting boosts to unlock - you will die several times before you complete your first run - couple runs in you'll probably figure out how to turn your kobold into a monster-blender - it's not a "live service game with regular updates and a feature-rich roadmap", it's a game that reserves two buttons to make funny noises :> ((People reviewing the 2$ , 400mb game like it's the newest AAA title that promised to revolutionize the genre is hilarious))
