Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've had this game for awhile and finally sat down and beat it. As someone who loves a good on-rails shooter, I had fun. The game is brief and can be completed in a single sitting. The game's six levels have some interesting scenery. The motion comic that provides the narrative looks great. Enemies lack variety and the action and boss battles are really an endurance test and are tiresome. I also struggled to find a real connection to the original Yars' Revenge. This is a shame. That said, if you like games like Sin and Punishment or Panzer Dragoon, you'll find some fun here. Worth picking up for a few bucks on sale. Tip: This is an older title and launches in windowed. Find the game's file on your PC and change the configuration settings for full screen. You can also manually up the resolution.
Yar's Revenge is a well thought out on-rails shooter which has a lot of style. It has 6 levels and at the end of each level a player has to defeat a boss. It has a small variety of enemies and I don't see a reason to market this point in the description: - "Upgrades and RPG elements - Gain experience while customizing your armor and weapon abilities" , because there is nothing like that avaliable in the game. I liked the overall atmosphere and concept art-like cutscenes, although they were going too fast to appreciate the art and read the dialog properly.

As a massive fan of the original Yars' Revenge for the Atari 2600, I have to say this game did not live up to the standard set all those decades ago. Gameplay is simple, arcadey, on rails; the cutscenes are how to draw manga powerpoint presentations; and the presentation is subpar. Old fans will ask where the destroyer missile went, and prospective fans of the series will be left wondering why this series is so well-regarded. So to you old-heads, don't bother, and to you newbies, have you played Atari today?
04/05/2020. Back in 1981/1982 a very young Dude named "K"(thats me) played Yar's Revenge at my School-Pals House or Apartment.I was fascinated at this Time.,there was NO Windows NO Steam etc but Atari was there.Well the RE-make here looks "better" or different from the Original. The Soundtrack specially the Menu or Main Title is very nice and the Visuals are great for me. The only "Cons" are this GamTips all the time and there should be more Content,WorkShop and Cheatcodes.I just wonder why this game was no commercial success? I love it anyway and recommend it to ALL my SteamFriends here! Conclusion: The Devs and Publishers failed a little to add some more Content,DLCs also a little more Cutscenes with real Voice Actors too.Scenes of daily Life of this Insect Aliens how they live about their Relgion and Background of tis Race.
4/10 - buy it if you loved the original game or enjoy a really simple shooter if its on sale. Otherwise its not worth the money.
This reimagined Yar's Revenge is actually kind of a hidden gem, though it has little to do with the Atari 2600 game except for the fact that it contains bugs and the story (Kinda). The negative reviews are likely fans of the original who don't like that the game used the license to create a rail shooter that's basically a Panzer Dragoon clone. Well, I love Panzer Dragoon and 3D rail shooters in general tend to be really impressive. This one has some super cool flying sequences that really get your adrenaline going as you shoot countless bugs and several bosses across six stages. The only thing wrong with this game is that some of the environments get repetitive and the ending is abrupt. The bugs actually move similar to the formation of an Atari 2600 game, but it's hard to tell because you're constantly flying all over these 3D maps and blowing up anything that moves in the process. Some really cool sequences involve flying up and through tunnels and far into the sky. The camera tilts and whirls as you do this, as though you are on a rollercoaster made of air. The only thing that would've made it better would have been if you could select from branching paths at some point. The game is totally linear, but the achievements add a lot of modifiers that drastically alter the playthrough. You have your normal shots, a laser cannon-like strike, missiles and various special attacks. If you use the shield, then the game gives you 50% of your health back. I beat this my first time through without dying once, but some of the achievement playthroughs are tough. One of the achievements is broken, though. In terms of the music, graphics, design, concept, I love this game- it's Panzer Dragoon meets a cel shaded Ghost in the Shell. Give it a chance and really get into the mechanics of it and you will probably find it to be an entertaining and rewarding flying shooter with some really awesome sequences and a unique style.
Artificial difficulty... I guess the developers thought they were clever...or maybe they were just incompetent. Maybe some people think punishing you for failing by making the game harder when you do is cool? Why would the game wipe out your pick ups when you need them most? then proceed to screw you by placing check points in a spot where you can't gather any before facing the boss again. I guess when the game is basically a fixed slide show that you can just spam shots at it's hard to innovate or even nail the basics...oh well...dead game, dead studio, dead publisher...forgotten from most players minds...it's a shame the net records everything and the existence of this game is still out there...
