Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

as always i love it, please Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio do kiwami 4 and 5

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 6: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Kenne das Original von damals nicht daher mit erster Run. Mal wieder eine mega starke Story die hat einfach nur Spaß gemacht.
Not a home run, but at least a double - 7/10 I've seen a lot of online reviews compare the remake to the original in a negative light. My first RGG games was Yakuza 4, and I'm therefore unburdened by history. Thankfully, because this game is great. The gameplay in Yakuza 4 was quite cumbersome and repetitive. There were almost too many side activities, with emphasis on quantity over quality. Yakuza Kiwami 3 is more related to newer RGG titles, with a more versatile combat system (with two distinct fighting styles), longer side quest arcs instead of individual short stories, and almost zero annoying QTEs. Despite controversial changes reported by others, I have a hard time believing that the original could be anywhere near as enjoyable as the remake. My main complaint is that the Dark Ties storyline is extremely short, and for someone with a copy of the original game, the meager amount of content wouldn't justify paying a full price. Also, the game seems to be poorly optimized, and tends to crash after a few hours of play. Seems to me like a memory leakage issue, but I can't exclude the possibility of my own PC being at fault. That said, fans of RGG games from Yakuza 0 onwards will be right at home. Combat is fluid, minigames galore, and the stories are the usual mix of bleak drama and absurd silliness. Although it's on the shorter side of RGG games, there's no content that feels like a chore. If I was playing this on PS5, I'd platinum it.
Yakuza Kiwami 3. The divisive Yakuza game (Well at the time of writing anyway) But is it good? The short answer is yes, at least in my books. The long answer is a yes but. To explain, Yakuza Kiwami 3, at least for me improves on the original game in the areas where I thought it needed it the most. For one, the combat in this is great, and provides a really strong backbone for the games core loop. The combat is crunchy, enemies (At least on professional) felt more like a threat and less like a test of patience. There's a heat system for enemies that results in it needing to be broken down in order to inflict more damage and staggers. You do this through landing critical blows, either by good dodges/ blocks and counters, or by getting behind your opponent and performing unlicensed chiropracting. Additionally you have a secondary meter that allows you to enter a special buffed state, being in said state also lets you whittle down enemies guards whilst also having different moves and actions, eventually ending in a special heat action. This alone makes the boss fights feel way more engaging as the fights feel strategic and reward good play overall. One thing that has changed about combat however is the removal of weapons. Both in terms of how they were handled in the original release and how they were handled in Kiwami 2. A kiwami 2 system would have worked great imo, especially given getting hit whilst holding a weapon causes it to crumble into dust for some inexplicable reason. That being said, a new, secondary style is present in Kiryu's tale. Ryukyu style. A weapon based style that utilises an arsenal of weapons to handle heaps of enemies. Ryukyu stlye is a bit clunky to learn but great once you master it. It can deal with crowds quickly or inflict a variety of status conditions. Whilst I wish there was a dedicated weapons system, Ryukyu style is at least it is serviceable. As for other elements of gameplay, most of the minigames are ported over from 2. Unfortunately golf is replaced with the golfing range and fishing is changed entirely. Aroma massage too but on the flip side, everything else receives an upgrade to the newer, higher quality of life versions. There's also a game gear with just over 10 classic games a fair few arcade games in club sega and a host of new minigames surrounding the orphanage. These new minigames prioritise bonding with the kids and getting resources for the orphanage itself. Speaking of the Orphanage, one of my biggest complaints with the original was not feeling as invested with the kids or the orphanage itself, which is a key story beat. Sure, you had a couple of chapters where you engaged with them but it just didn't quite land for me. In Kiwami 3 your orphanage is a place where you can fish, farm, cook, sew, do homework, catch bugs, and play a game with the children. It's much more fleshed out and you engage with it at your leisure. By raising the kids happiness you can progress a story regarding Kiryu learning how to cook more than just curry, and each child has their own sub story. Some are the same as the original but most are adjusted. I will say however that in some cases the originals were better and some of the new ones are better. I'd give it a 50/50 split. Of course story is a huge element for the Yakuza series and I actually like the overall story here. It doesn't particularly change from the original but some scenes are adjusted, there are a couple more cutscenes sprinkled here and there that help to fill in some time or adjust things. I felt the game flowed much better than the original although some elements worked better and a couple just lack impact. For example, the reapers quest line is changed to be much brisker without returning to the main building, in fact the building doesn't exist at all. Another contention point revolves around the lack of substories. Now, whilst there are less. Some are condensed into singular stories, some are not present as their respective things are not (hostesses thank god are gone). That being said there are 32 substories, then each of the children have a story, raising the total to 40 and then Mine's content has 12. Some of which, if I'm not mistaken may have been Kiryu's originally or at least were similar in some way. Overall there are around half but the game does not feel light on content particularly, at least to me anyway. One thing that is quite divisive is the casting which I will touch on and say that I don't think Rikiya's recasting works particularly well and I did not feel attached to his character. The recast of the Ryudo patriarch worked well however. Similarly, Hamizaki was recast. This was a huge contention point considering the actor but putting that aside, I feel Hamizaki felt much more impactful. In fact I think the whole line of antagonists felt much better overall. Perhaps it's due to them looking more human than their original counterparts or a shift in tone but they worked much better here. As for Mine's side of things. It's 3 chapters and it's quite brisk. I don't feel it's a necessary story to tell but Mine's actual fighting style is fun and engaging. Mine also gets his own list of tasks, substories (Good deeds) and tournament arena that all serve to offer something to bulk out his campaign which makes it a bit more of a game than Kiwami 2's Majima chapters for example. Overall I honestly think the game is overrhated. I understand there are some controversies and issues but it's a perfectly fine game. Were I to want to play Yakuza 3, I would choose this over the original every time. The story is paced better, the core combat is better to play, and the side content albeit different is overall better than the original. The completion is also much less taxing, even if you want to do everything beyond just the achievements. Overall Kiwami 3 is a good game, it's not as good as it could have been but overall I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. (As a side note, the game also runs really well on Deck despite having heaps of dudes on screen during the gal gang section)s
Yakuza 3 için kurtarıcı olacak iken daha da rezil edilmiş bir oyun. Dark Ties efsaneydi ona lafım yok. Yakuza orjinali mükemmel hikaye ve yan görevleri vardı.
Its one of those games i wish i could give a "Meh" rating.
If you havnt played the original game, yea i suppose this is alright if you get it for 20 bucks or so. If you have played the original its just all the new stuff shoved in your face in the first 3 chapters. The skills you unlock are tied to the completion stuff from prior games (aka play all minigames, eat everywhere, basically do everything). You dont have to do everything but it definitly helps you ALOT. This also means you can unlock all skills very early in the game and be hilariously overpowered. Also for no good reason RGG got rid of the colored HP bars. Now you will ALWAYS see yellow -> red -> empty. So no telling if you do decent damage or if a boss is actually intimidating. Its just punch and find out. Not fun imo. It boils down to RGG adding all Minigames they can into one and giving you access to them asap so returning players got stuff to do. Imo the changes are not as impactful as expected but my issue remains that its a waste of ressources to swap the models and VAs for stuff (unless they were unable to get them on again to re-record lines). All they did is add some more cutscenes for Hamazaki, change the post credit cutscene and added the entire thing with Mine. Spoilers ahead for the Mine stuff. You
wont be learning anything new or meaningful from playing this outside of a tiny bit more of the background for Mine. They didnt bother showing if he actually decapitated Kanda or if thats a hoax.
The "DLC" gives you around 4 hours of cutscenes and gameplay if you dont bother getting 100%. It doesnt give you any interesting new story points whatsoever outside of the story change
with Mine surviving the fall S O M E H O W from atleast a 26 story building and being found by the Daidoichi
but that gets you spoiled in
the base game ending already
. All in all they just added some more cutscenes / added voicelines for regular text stuff. There werent any changes during the story, only the ending. Playing in chronological order makes no sense for new players since they changed Hamazaki +
the ending part where he stabs you.
TL;DR If you got nothing to play and want some Yakuza fun, sure go get it. If you already played the original or remake, you dont need to play this, just look up the spoiler stuff and save yourself 20 bucks. Wish RGG wouldve spent the ressources for making this game on a different project tbh.
