love space management economic system? so this is the game
I expected an exploration and trading space game, but what I got was an empire management game. I love it!! 9.4/10, Better than most space sim games!
They have some bugs but the X series is really in a class of its own. X4 takes the concepts of the previous games and expands on them in a very satisfying way. Absolutely stellar comeback after the disappointing X: Rebirth title. I consider this to be the most accomplished game in the series, and the active modding communities are smoothing out the rough edges fairly well. recommended if your PC can handle it. (if not you can always run in potato mode and enjoy the "retro" vibes.)
Seems like an awesome game if i invested more time.
Still a buggy, janky mess.
The biggest issue this game has is that the quit function seems to have a built-in 4 hour delay... iykyk I might write more when I've gotten a few hours under my belt.
X4: Foundations is a very complex space simulator and I like the feel of the game and the general idea. With that said, I really can believe that a game of this size and with all the DLC available, they couldn't hire a descent UX designer to sort the game controls. The controls makes no sense, it's like they just ignored if you played any first person or flying game in the past 25 years and decided to reinvent the controls and made it overcomplex with no real benefit. I will still leave thumbs up because I can see it's a passion work from Egosoft and I know that the game a has a big fanbase. I just wish that for their next game, they pay more attention in the UX and onboarding for the game :)
Obrovské vesmírné bitvy, jen trošku složitější na naučení.
An acquired taste
