Quite simply put: This game is worth your time. If you like the expanse of space, complex mechanics to really get your teeth into, superb graphics and an astounding array of musical vibes, then X4 will deliver.
The Game is Really Good After you Get the Hang of it, I Bought it Thinking it Was Some Niche game due the Way the Graphics Are [They Look Like 2016 Graphics at Most] i Struggled Quite a Bit at the Start Since to Learn somethings you Have to Either Search in-game or Like Most Games Search a Tutorial on Youtube, It Has a Very Steep Learning Curve, for the First Hours i Mainly Did Random Missions, At First i thought the Game Would Hold my Hand and Give me Missions That Were According to What i Had, Turns Out i'm Free to do Anything i Want, i Did the Main Storyline a Bit [No Spoilers] Gathered some money then i Bought my First Miner, After that i Slowly begun Building my Small Empire, In Resume the Game can Cather to a Good Amount of Playstyles, Those who Want to Play a Game Where they're a Single Person Doing it All By Himself, and Those who want to Micro-manage a Entire Empire With Supply Lines and Etc, i Recommend the Game for the People that Have Time, This Aint a Game that you Can do Significant Progress in One Sitting, Also i Would Like to Recommend Having a Good Processor and a Good Amount of RAM, At the Late Stages of the Game the Galaxy will be Filled with Entities and That can Turn your Gameplay from Cool to Frustrating Very Quickly
Incredibly addicting. At the beginning it will feel kinda janky but once you learn what the game expects from you, personally I fell in love. I played vanilla-esk for 30 hrs then installed VRO. I find myself up to 3am because I'm just so enthralled with the setting, factions, and possibilities.
Ein echt gutes Spiel, hoffe auf ein Sequel.
as a newcomer ... what i need to do ? i have done a huge part of the tutorial to be completly "ingame" ... so i cannot refund now
X4 is a space game, where, from the pilot seat of your spaceship, whether that be a fighter craft, a gunboat, a trade or mining ship, a battleship or a carrier, you do missions, fight, trade and eventually build up a massive corpo-empire of your own, building your own stations and fleets, all with a lot of automation. Compared to previous X games, X4 is both wider, deeper and more accessible. It is addictive, fun, beautiful. It is good, very good. There really aren't many (any?) games in the same league to compare it to. Some warnings: the game takes a lot of your time to play. It is also very resource intensive. You can get started playing the game on much weaker systems than mine, but the battles, especially as you begin building your own fleets, can get VERY large. Even my beefy rig sometimes gets framerates in the teens, as i enter battles with several capital ships, a pair of carriers and over a hundred fighter craft on my side and several capital ships, a large shipyard with maybe a hundred defense drones and dozens of fighter craft on the other side.
