Got into space. Went to fly towards whatever it was the mission was for, a probe possibly. Minutes of flying and never arriving.

It was Ok back in the day. It's a space flight sim, you kill ufos with your ship and research new techs, it has some cool features and some humour (The game itself doesn't take itself seriously). The ships that you can research and pilot are three and the variety of weapons offsets more or less the mediocrity of the dogfighting phase. You have bases (space stations) that you can upgrade. It was (is?) a good game, just don't go expecting elite dangerous or DCS (Or any Xcom game for that matter).

Rien a voir avec un tatical mais plutot un clone de wing commander un peu vieillot mais qui reste quand meme jouable... Gaphiquement daté et avec des commandes a la souris un peu hasardeuse et pas ergonomiques du tout mais ca reste dans le domaine du convenable... Interet : 12/20 Realisation : 12/20

Sama gra - jedna z ciekawszych strzelanek kosmicznych jakie grałem. Oczywiście pamiętajmy, że ten tytuł jest już bardzo stary i standardy w nim są typowo z lat dziewięćdziesiątych. Grę kupiłem w bundle z innymi tytułami X-COM i jest to pierwsza ze starszych odsłon które odpaliłem po zakupie - tak dobrze wspominałem tą perełkę... Niestety, TA konkretna wersja gry na Steam jest praktycznie niegrywalna - ciągłe crashe, nie da się dostosować grafiki do współczesnych monitorów, sporo bugów i ogólnie - odradzam. Nie jest to aż tak warty uwagi tytuł, żeby męczyć się z niekompatybilnością z twoim komputerem, po prostu sobie odpuść... Ale i tak szkoda... Myślałem, że po tylu latach od premiery na tej platformie i po tylu negatywnych ocenach Steam mógłby wziąć się w garść i zreperować ten tytuł, ale niestety to nie nastąpiło i już raczej nie nastąpi. Z ciekawości zainstalowałem tą grę na starym, chyba nawet starszym ode mnie, komputerze. Działa prawie poprawnie, udało mi się nawet ją ukończyć... Innymi słowy - masz gdzieś na strychu jakiś stary klamot IBM, który jeszcze jakoś działa? Może na nim ta wersja gry będzie ci śmigać. :P
