Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Worms ist ein Klassiker, der in dessen Genre neue Maßstäbe gesetzt hat und bei Fans des Genres unbedingt Mal gespielt werden sollte.
I love these chunky, exploding WORM sprites! game plays great. is great. best game. the others are great too, others will say Armageddon is best. I agree probably, but the style and little pixels on this one make it feel original and not like a flash game. there isn't a lot of weapons or really that much variety in strategy, ninja rope kinda sux but love this game anyway. - DOS fan boy :)

It's a fun game full of belly laughs when it's not youself getting squished!
This is where the Worms franchise started, released all the way back in 1995 for DOS, so this version uses the DOSBox emulator to run it. Although this technically isn’t the first release, but rather Worms United, which includes the Worms Reinforcements expansion. Given its age, we have to excuse the outdated graphics, basic UI, and rough controls that later entries vastly improved. But it’s still a fine entry, with a decent arsenal and customization. The expansion also adds 25 challenge levels, but for some weird reason it uses passwords instead of saving your progress locally. It can be fun for a few hours, but for me it isn’t the type of game you stick with for too long, since there are better sequels more worthy of your time, like fan-favorite Worms Armageddon. Still, I can recommend it for cheap.
pretty good start I want to briefly compare and contrast the version on GG and the one on Steam. I played through most of this on the former and then decided to just check out the lad thinking that it a lesser version and it turned out that it's the same exact thing except that the videos don't auto play. I saw someone describe a fix for it which I have not attempted because that was an aspect that did not really affect my experience very much. But it definitely ran smoother on Steam. It feels a little unfair that my review is not going to be quite as glowing as for later Ent entries. Because of course they were able to improve. So what I will say is I was impressed by how much of what I love about Armageddon was here. It's simply not quite as refined. That one has four jumps, this one has one. The Arsenal was a tad smaller but a lot of the coolest stuff was already here such as the banana bomb and kamikaze. And of course the core was here. Taking the wind into account and being careful when you choose how much power you use to launch your projectile weapon in fact enables you to make certain of them turn in midair and round corners. The Looney Tunes Goofy Hum humor also works right away. This has just over two dozen levels which can be accessed via password. The ideal experience is multiplayer which can thankfully work hot seat. no level generator. Three out of five mildly recommend to anyone who loves turn based strategy and strongly recommended if the aforementioned limitations compared to later entries don't put you off
Worms . An exellent game! It is incredibly funny fight here. Different weapons create so many interesting gameplay situations. Also it is very stylish! Greate pixelart, animations, music and sounds. I fond of it!! . Controls: Left, Right - Walk Up, Down - Adjust your weapon's aiming angle Enter - Jump Spacebar - hold to fire or activate your weapon RMB - Open the weapon selection panel F1 to F12 Keys - Cycle directly through available weapon groups. . Mechanics and features: The majority of legendary mechanics exist in the first game! A worm is killing himself with TNT when his lives bar shows null. Weapon chests descend from the sky by parachute. Mines are scattered across the field, which can be detonated. A replay of epic deaths. Applause after one of the participants wins. A worm kicks the grenade very cool. Before a match the game suggests skip battlefield or choose it. The legendary weapons and utilities are already here! Bazooka, Homing Missile, Grenade, Cluster Bomb, Shotgun, Uzi, Fire Punch, Dragon Ball, Dynamite, Mine, Air Strike, Teleport, Blowtorch, Pneumatic Drill, Ninja Rope, Bungee, Girder, Kamikaze, Prod, Skip Go, Surrender, Banana Bomb, Minigun, Sheep. The are many interesting battlefields: Beach, Candy, Desert, Forest, Geiger, Hell, Junk, Mars, 'Nam, Snow. There is great music in the main menu.
