Challenging and rewarding gameplay, crisp pixelart graphics, and very crunchy audio. A tiny game for ginormous gamers.

tightly scoped, very densely packed little quarter muncher. playing without savepoints has this very 'speedrunner'esque buildup as you learn the spawn patterns for each room and plan a route. if you see 'jazz mickle' near the credits of anything the music will be standout. looks like pole's on the menu tonight gamers
This is a short game but worth the money. It is a sequence of combat arenas where the player takes on a variety of enemies, at the end of each chapter you get a new weapon. It feels good to play. Although it is much simpler, it reminded me a little of Silksong, where you often have to deal with multiple enemy types at the same time and you have to be careful about where you position yourself. I got to the fourth chapter, I'll be coming back later to see if I can win the game.

Store page didn't lie - game is difficult, but it has that "one more run" thing going where you press a button and you're immediately right back in it trying to get a flawless run for as long as possible because you know you're gonna need all your health later. Music's great at bumping up the tension and keeping you in the groove. I really like it so far.
extremely fun tight little game. the music, sound, and grapics are all excellent and create a great vibe. the weapons are all well-designed and fun to use. it's difficult, but fun and satisfying to master. makes me feel like a ginormous gamer!!
cute little game with great music & nostalgic gameboy feel. got some fun quirks you got to discover for yourself :)
I have to admit despite playing an early version I am actually quite terrible at this game! BUT I like what it's going for with the super precise movement and enemy placement. When you get the hang of one of the weapons you can really line stuff up super accurately, just maybe you need a brain that still has active neurons to be able to pull it off. Works fine on fedora linux with default steam setup too!
Impeccable style, incredibly solid gameplay and a difficulty that might have me despairing if the speed and simplicity didn't make it so damn fun, highly recommended
it's fun and weird and plays really well B-)

(i playtested this game so don't trust the 17 minute time spent.) this game rules. the feel of every weapon is so tightly tuned, you get a quick understanding of the basics but only by pushing through do you figure out the little tricks they each have. you start getting a zen gamefeel like "ah i know one of the goblins is down to one hit but i can't get in there until the volcano shoots" or whatever. it's the kind of game you pick up for a couple of runs that are really intense and then have to put down again until later. it rules.
