World Leader Card Game

Needs better ui and perhaps a tutorial, other than that, its ok.

So this game is quite something. It really has a good amount of potential to be a AAA game and win game of the year for soundtrack and voice acting but its not yet there. I played this game with a competitive korean and managed to get him down to -108 with Lenin spam. Also make a better multiplayer version if possible.

"World Leader Card Game" is a laughably bad failed attempt at making a for-profit "card game" created by stealing a bunch of photos off Wikipedia for various world leaders. I think they were hoping this would "go viral" or something? It's a bug riddled train wreck. It's obvious why this was such a failure. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $1 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
