Good game
Honestly, one of the best story-driven shooters ever made. The story is gripping, the characters are amazing, and BJ Blazkowicz is just a badass. The gunplay feels incredibly satisfying and heavy, especially when you dual-wield shotguns. It balances stealth and loud action perfectly. Even years after release, the graphics and atmosphere still hold up. Highly recommend it if you want a great single-player campaign with an awesome soundtrack. 10/10 HH (:
do I have to say anything?
Overall, it is a good game. Comparing it to other titles of the same genre, the graphics were amazing, there were no bugs encountered during my playthroughs, and the story was generally well done, albeit lacking in depth. With specific praise, the female cast wasn't simply sexualized or given one dimensional traits, especially with the secondary villain of the entire story being a woman, and they all actually contributed to the narrative in meaningful ways instead of being eye candy or mothers, as was the case in Metro.
Although, the title did not escape unnecessary sex scenes and somewhat lewd perspectives, but I can forgive this as the writers did not make it the end all be all to the women, solely the love interest.
However, that is not to say that all the characterization was good. The protagonist himself was very, very bland in my opinion. Guy who whispers while he kills Nazis about his thought process in an edgy way. It is hard to describe because while I do feel it fits the narrative to have a character like this, it all just kind of came off as cliche. The main love interest and their connection also was just so poorly done in my opinion. It didn't come off as sexist nor typical, but just kind of bland. In this regard, a lot of it just fell short for me. It feels like its something that could have been a bit more meaningful had it had just a touch more polish to making the world feel realistic. Too much of the story just felt like they were hand-holding you through how they intend for you to interpret things. If the writers trusted the audience a little more and perhaps developed the side characters more than just how they were impacted by Nazis, I feel it could have been truly exceptional, but the entirety of the story revolved around the conflict, making it feel less realistic even in scenes where it was supposed to take a backseat. It seems to me though, that with the sensitive nature of a lot of political climates and discussion, perhaps they did not want to make anything humanized and took the more "tell, don't show" approach as to not allow any of the work to be misconstrued as supportive. As for the gameplay, which I felt was secondary to the story in most regards, it was pretty good. They varied it a bit so it didn't get too repetitive but as with all titles such as these, it did often boil down to presenting you with rooms of a few different types of enemies and giving you some guns to let you figure out the rest. The gore was good though, in both the active playing and the cut scenes. They did not shy away from showing off the depravity and inhumanity of war. The ending was meh and felt very unfulfilling to me, but a good and tough boss fight made up for it. Its good. Its not exceptional, but it doesn't have to be. Recommended if on sale.
This one is top-tier for me. It takes a very old-school idea — one angry man with guns against an entire nightmare regime — and somehow turns it into a shooter with real weight, style, and heart. The gunplay is excellent. Heavy, loud, fast, and satisfying in that classic FPS way where the game doesn’t need to overcomplicate things. You can sneak when you want, go loud when the plan stops being cute, dual-wield like a man solving diplomacy with ammunition, and just push through some really well-paced levels. What surprised me most is how much I actually cared about the story. B.J. could have been just a walking jawline with weapons, but the game gives him a tired, human side that really works. The alternate-history world is dark and absurd, but it has enough detail and emotion to feel bigger than just “shoot the bad guys in cool locations.” It’s brutal, cinematic, weirdly heartfelt, and just fun as hell to play. One of the best modern FPS campaigns, and still one of my favorite examples of how to revive a classic without sanding off everything that made it special.

Prós: O puro suco do Gunplay raiz.
