The Wolfenstein series is a great reminder of how good a focused single-player FPS can be. No bloated multiplayer systems, battle passes, or endless filler — just fast, polished gunplay, incredible weapon feel, and a campaign that keeps the action moving from start to finish. Every gun feels powerful, the pacing stays tight, and the games never lose sight of what makes shooters fun. I wish more modern FPS games focused on this kind of pure, gameplay-first experience. Pretty good game
Великолепная игра даже на сегодняшний день. Несмотря на свои годы, выглядит достойно и играется очень бодро. Как говорил Кармак, сюжет в игре как сюжет в порнофильме: он должен быть, но совершенно не важен. Но здесь хороши оба аспекта: и сюжет, и геймплей. Ведь именно на основе сюжета этой игры строятся продолжения серии. Игра может похвастаться отличным геймдизайном. Практически каждый уровень уникален. Некоторые локации мы посещаем повторно и видим, как они изменились по ходу истории. Такие как, Замок Черепа и Лондонская Наутика. Достижения в игре несложные. Понадобится немного гринда и несколько прохождений на разных уровнях сложности. На максимальной сложности настоящую проблему представляет разве что финальный босс. Если любите сюжетные шутеры, то Wolfenstein: The New Order определённо стоит внимания даже спустя годы после выхода.
