A group of hikers got lost exploring a mountain range, they kept ascending until they found a stranger named Shizuki. The group asked the stranger where they were and he answered: "Mahoutsukai No Yoru". The hikers wept countless tears of joy for everyone knew they had reached peak. Mahoyo has a great cast that primarily focuses on just the interactions between 3 people (Soujuuro/Alice/Aoko) as they navigate living together and dealing with an unknown enemy. The story that unfolds had me totally invested. At times it was a bit slow but there were many times where you could feel the stakes and it was impossible to put down. Shizuki is the GOAT. THE GOAT ! ! ! Music was a Five/5, the action was cinema, visuals were beautiful, and the characters were AMAZING. 8 or 9 out of 10 overall. Anyways, FGO is holding back Nasu from writing Mahoyo part 2 + 3. Can bro just lock in for a bit. Far side routes too? Or just a TsukiRe PC release~ Surely the TV bit was just a joke... Nasu?!?
Literally unbelievable how incredible this was, somehow Nasu just turns everything he touches to gold. Every visual novel he makes is so criminally underappreciated because they're visual novels and it's honestly devastating that he doesn't get more recognition. Masterclass climax and character writing throughout. Absolutely Incredible

this is the greatest story game I have ever played. perhaps even the greatest story, straight up. The soundtrack deserves a grammy, and all of the art is beautiful. I just finished this game, and to be honest I am left speechless. Life changing levels of peak right here, and I'm not even exaggerating. This transcends a story or entertainment. For me, this was an experience I will never forget, like the feeling of being held by my mother for the first time. 11/10. Absolutely recommend.
Came for Touko. Staying for Aoko. Soujuurou is the second densest material known to man in the Type-Moon universe, after Emiya Shirou.
Fantastic game, really, one of the best by nasu
It's just so good. I'm someone who normally reads webnovels so I was skeptical going into this game as someone who prefers just plain words but this game blew my prejudice clean off. It's so well-crafted on every front. The soundtrack that I can't stop replaying and the beautiful art and especially gorgeous backgrounds only boosts how good Nasu's writing is. Every character is written so well but the main trio are an especially fun dynamic. Soujyuro's innocence, Aoko's brashness and Alice's subtle displays of emotion are so endearing, and I love how this game can jump between action, slice of life, and comedy so naturally without cutting the quiet and almost ethereal moments between the cast. I'm sure I'll remember this game for the rest of my life.
Wow this visual novel was amazing. Everything from the visuals, to the characters and music was absolutely phenomenal. Aoko felt like everything Rin was lacking in FSN while also having a lot to stand on her own despite the similarities mainly due to the struggle of being a mage vs being a human getting a lot more focus. While I still consider Fate/Stay Night to be my favourite from what I've read of Nasu's works, this does come close. If there is anyone that is even remotely interested in the Nasuverse or just wants a visual novel that pushes the medium visually while having incredibly strong character writing, I highly recommend this to anyone willing. It's a much shorter visual novel than Type-Moon's others and is completely linear with no choices. While I do hope Nasu does release the next 2 entries for Mahoyo, I found that the way this VN ended was rather satisfactory.
London Bridge is falling down, Falling down, falling down. London Bridge is falling down, My fair lady.
多年以后,草十郎擦过洋馆最后一扇窗时,会想起那个观看鳄鱼录影带的遥远下午。
