Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town

Un adolescente recibe una carta de su padre, un reconocido arqueólogo que lleva 10 años desaparecido y que todos dan por muerto, que lo insta a visitar una ciudad pirata que vio tiempos mejores y decide emprender una aventura en busca de respuestas sobre lo sucedido. Con un comienzo así uno se esperaría una buena trama de misterio, pero en la práctica la "historia" carece de desarrollo, no genera grandes intrigas, deja muchos plot holes en el aire y solo está ahí para justificar que recorras los correctamente diseñados escenarios de este point-and-click buscando cosas con las que resolver sus puzzles. Que, dicho sea de paso, más que presentarte alguna dificultad solo te dejan pensando por qué alguien usaría ciertos objetos en lugares y funciones tan inverosímiles. A esto hay que sumarle la falta total de carisma y emoción de todo el elenco de personajes 3D que, aunque tienen actuaciones de voz dentro de todo aceptables, te pueden hablar de la tontería más grande del mundo con la misma seriedad que tratan un asunto más delicado o que te explican las mecánicas durante el tutorial. En conclusión, este Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bone Town puede estar bien si te gusta el género y solo buscas pasar el rato o "platinarte" un juego en un par de horas, pero si tienes mayores expectativas, recomendaría ir por alguna de las tantas opciones mejores que esta plataforma tiene para ofrecer.

The biggest problem with this game is the English localization. It's got some real non-native-speaker weirdness to it that impacts enjoyment in such a text- and voice-heavy genre. But the art style's beautiful and the puzzle logic's pretty solid. Mixed bag, but still leaning positive for me. Could have been a lot better, and probably if you speak the dev's native language.

Willy Morgan ist ein sehr schön umgesetztes Point & Click Adventure - allerdings sehr kurz, eigentlich zu kurz. Es kommt gerade in Schwung, da ist es schon vorbei. Für einen netten Nachmittag Rätselspaß ist dieses Spiel ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!!!

Nice little game, not overly taxing but a lovely experience for what it was.

it is pretty fun, good story and the graphics are great. but it is way too short! not even 6 hours of gameplay.

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum - or perhaps grog. Enjoyable game, Willy is a likeable chappy, and the game runs along smoothly with interesting characters and an old village to explore.

I’m really enjoying Willy Morgan. It comes from the same team behind Whirlight; while the foundations of a good product were visible there, they’ve certainly made a huge leap in quality with Whirlight. Still, Willy remains a little gem. Approved!

Great game, but not the Bone Town I was looking for.
