About
Wildmender is a game about bringing a deserted world back to life.
Explore the vast desert, alone or with friends. Collect plants and bring them back to your garden to thrive. Craft new tools and use them to shape the earth, and channel water to your plants. Delve into the mysteries of a fallen civilization and discover their magic. Befriend animals, spirits, and seek out the gods to help you defend the land from the vicious wraiths who seek to corrupt it. It’s up to you to save the world, one seed at a time.
With the tools you crafted, set out to grow the little oasis in the middle of a vast desert into your own thriving garden. Plant seeds, dig canals, nurture your plants, craft useful and beautiful structures, harness magical essence, protect against the forces of nature, and more! You’ll have plenty of space and choices to create the garden of your imagination. Acre by acre, you will reclaim the desert and reforest the world.
Explore the desert around you. It is not as barren as you think! Forage for seeds and resources. Store them for a longer journey or bring them back to your garden, the choice is yours. Manage your food and water carefully as your journey through the dunes, the drained and salted sea, the poisoned canyons, and the cold and distant mountains. The farther you adventure, the greater the peril and rewards. Rare minerals, exotic plants, adorable creatures, and ancient spirits await your discovery.
What happened to this world? How did everything go wrong? How did the life-draining wraiths corrupt the land? Journey to the temples of the gods, learn their stories, rediscover arcane magic, unlock powerful weapons, tools, and abilities to help you defeat the wraiths, free the gods, and breathe new life to the world.
Invite up to 3 of your friends to your garden online! Work together to tend your flourishing garden. Share resources and survive together. Adventure with friends through the lonely desert. Fight together against dangerous wraiths. But don’t forget, with more hands to garden you’ll have more mouths to feed!
Just let nature take its course or style the garden to your liking. Craft structures and tools to decorate and shape the terrain. Build bridges over canals, a footpath dotted with lanterns, stucco walls with a gate, magical sigils that return bees to your garden, a streaming waterfall with a pool below, and more. Love the unique concept of the game. It was a bit hard to understand and pick up, so grateful for the non-spoiler guide available on Steam, but overall I absolutely love this game. It's beautiful to look at and fun to play, just challenging enough to keep it interesting but cozy enough to be relaxing.
if you buy it for 5 ore lower money its worth the money but : the game is simple grafik but takes lots of workspace on your computer you will have a liddle fighting, you have full controll over the game settings like food poison, growing etc you also have some quest and lots of grinding goal is to connect all water ressources upgrade them to max and connect all water and plants so they build a huge spiderweb area that makes everthing green ! it will not work in 1 day ore one week but if you invest 100+ h you may be able to finish it and have the biggest garden ever :)
Extremely annoying. I had my eye on this for a while, thought it would be fun, and it's basically a "run around and water your plants" simulator, except you don't have enough water, the game gates the water flow behind a bunch of quests and isn't clear on how you get to that point, the tooltips can be annoying inaccurate, the game gives you a tiny inventory, and you can weave baskets to store your stuff in, but they deteriorate along with everything else. I've spent most of my time trying to keep plants alive and trying to coax my pathetic stream into some semblance of an irrigated channel with digging/fill tools that are abysmal. Huge quality of life issues exist in this game. It could be good, but it feels like a massive chore.
Generally positive on this one. I'd call it cozy survival, the environment is the biggest threat. There are a couple UI issues that hold the experience back. Sometimes the normal back button isn't the correct one to use, mostly when looking at things on the map. Some quests lack waypoint markers (I'm looking at you 'Find the grave') Quests that require specific plants should at least have a hint as to where I should look for that plant, such as Wild Dunegrass being present on high areas. Apart from those fairly minor issues, I like it.

Game runs fine on a 770 series, you read that right. For some weird reason people are recently leaving fake negative reviews, some of them with 50 hours even. This game is literally a one of a kind. My only complaint is that I wish there was a mount, a map editor, workshop or souls-like combat option. This game is one of the few that can give you 100+ hours and still be therapeutic, it can run on a 10 year old pc fine, the philosophies in the game is Vedic and exceptional. One of the few Vegan Games.
It's a beautiful, wholesome, cozy, yet interesting game about bringing a desertified and exploited landscape back to life. There's gardening, cute animal friends (some huggable!), exploration, skills progression, crafting, some combat and much customisability wrt difficulty and playstyle.
Very relaxing sweet game
.
Very nice fantasy game, plays nice in multiplayer too.
