Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 1.5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's okay, 6/10. Gameplay wise, the game gets repetitive quite quickly, and most of the abilities and items in each run are useless and never used/picked. Each of the three classes essentially gets funneled into one usable build, and builds are determined by RNG getting good abilities. If you're looking for a real turn-based strategy game with strategy, play XCOM or battle brothers. This is more of an RNG simulator while reading long cutscenes. Would recommend buying and trying on sale, but not full price.
Very fun game. If you desperately need to play dnd but don’t have a way to actually play dnd, this is a great way to scratch that itch. The combat is fun, levelling up is interesting, and the stories told are always interesting.

I really enjoyed this game, perfect for when you want to play a chill, non-twitchy game. When you create a party they are very basic personality-wise, but as they go through their adventures and the story develops it is really interesting to watch them grow. Or lose limbs, gain transformations, fall in love, gain powerful artifacts, etc. The random events can get kind of repetitive the longer that you play, but overall it is a lot of fun. Some of the campaigns have better writing than others, but over all they are fairly interesting. I actually picked this game to play to have something to play while folding clothes, and it is perfect for that. Or any other task where you may have to walk away for a minute or two. It will wait for you as long as it needs to. The art style is beautiful, and pretty unique with the paper doll aspect. They made really interesting sets too, and the stories are varied. I would definitely recommend.
Bad game. I wanted to like it and there are some neat features, but the combat is so clunk and the gameplay loop is frustrating. Plus, there is zero actual onboarding that helps you understand how to play the game. I mostly sat there clicking through options without any clarity on the ranges of my abilities and spells, unable to understand how the flow of combat plays out or the consequences of specific actions. It's just a terrible version of Fire Emblem, with an AI-script style story generator that feels generic, and a lot of frustrating interactions or consequences that you cannot undo. At the very least, they could let you undo choices and decisions so that you don't lose an entire campaign to not understanding their awful combat systems or game mechanics. I'm literally reading Reddit pages just to try and understand what keywords in their game mean, as nothing is explained in the actual game.
It has been a long while since a game has immediately caught my interest as this one did. I love the artstyle, the choices are plentiful and I love that you can create your characters. It definitely has some potential to be more detailed in some aspects but it is still a great game. I hope the developers make more of such lovely games. I am excited to keep playing.
Whelp, I'm falling back down the rabbit hole again, so I guess it's time to put up a review. This is a gorgeous game with lovely writing, score, and sound with smooth mechanics and an amazing set of campaigns. If you're looking for something dnd adjacent, this is a game I have trouble putting down. And it's so cool that it has a legacy system where you can interact with and even play more than just the one campaign with the heroes that you've taken on adventures thus far, creating intricately intertwined timelines of characters that let you progress their "legacy" and relationships further. I probably got this game on sale, but honestly it's worth the $25 for the nearly 150 hours I have in it at time of review.
Hard to sum up how much i love this game. Its just a perfect unique blend of good ideas and mechanics playing off of eachother. Not a crazy amount of either, but they all work well together. Ignore the Card game tags. all that is, is the mechanic that controls how hard enemies get after each encounter. Theres 4 or 5 different enemy types(races), and the game draws cards and assigns new units or pwer ups to existing enemy units. The rest of the Combat is easy to learn and hard to master. especially on the higher difficulties things get out of hand in a good way and its more than some cute, rock paper scissors barely strategy game. It will force you to use every ability and item you have, try new builds, and learn from your failures, and keep challenging yourself. especially with the Omenroad DLC. Combat focused End game kind of stuff. The story telling will eventually get repetitive. My advice is keep making characters with different personality combinations to see all the different possibilities in terms of how they interact with eachother and the stories. That being said, its a really fun story generator that puts together alot of fun play throughs. You'll come to have your favourite characters for sure. When you finsih a run, all of your surviving heroes are saved. Depending on your score you have the option to upgrades a heroes legacy and they'll enter the next game one level higher and have a hgher resource cost to bring intp the campaign, as well as aging 5-7 years. You can do this 5 times for each characters and eventually end up with these parties of old badasses. really fun way to add replay value. You can also delete/choose not to save characters to keep your hero pool reasonable.
I do like combat here. It is interesting and with some new fresh ideas. However I'm dying of cringe reading stories here. And that's where game was supposed to shine... What a shame. To make it worse story is presented as comic which you need to click-click-click to progress even during one strip. That is irritating, there is no auto-continue option(not that I was able to find at least). And skipping story still leaves you with choices, but w/o any background on why and how. Furthermore developers provide you with links to wiki, which reveals what exactly each choice is about and that is also bad idea. At least that should be an option for those, who want to play that way. On a technical side of things network code is a bit unstable, but other than that game runs just fine.
Play this game if you get emotionally attach to anything easily. Crying about anything is part of the experience.
Very much enjoy this game, the campaigns are interesting and fun but most of my playtime is coming from the roguelike mode. Partner and I adore the cast of characters we've raised up and are grinding our way through the difficulty levels. Won't stop playing for a while.
