Wildermyth follows heroes over their whole careers, from their pitchfork days to their powerful primes, and on into old age and memory. It’s a party-based procedural storytelling RPG where tactical combat and story decisions will alter your world and reshape your cast of characters.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 1.5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bad game. I wanted to like it and there are some neat features, but the combat is so clunk and the gameplay loop is frustrating. Plus, there is zero actual onboarding that helps you understand how to play the game. I mostly sat there clicking through options without any clarity on the ranges of my abilities and spells, unable to understand how the flow of combat plays out or the consequences of specific actions. It's just a terrible version of Fire Emblem, with an AI-script style story generator that feels generic, and a lot of frustrating interactions or consequences that you cannot undo. At the very least, they could let you undo choices and decisions so that you don't lose an entire campaign to not understanding their awful combat systems or game mechanics. I'm literally reading Reddit pages just to try and understand what keywords in their game mean, as nothing is explained in the actual game.

Felt the repetitiveness immediately after the initial campaign (somehow I got the impression that it was a "tutorial" but ended up a whole 10 hour campaign). The combats get repetitive already before that, they are really punishing in the beginning and gets easier as you level up gear and abilities during the campaign. Fail to see what will improve just by switching out the main mobtypes in the other campaigns. Not superannoyed by the art style (then I wouldn't have bought it in the first place) but not a big fan either.
It has been a long while since a game has immediately caught my interest as this one did. I love the artstyle, the choices are plentiful and I love that you can create your characters. It definitely has some potential to be more detailed in some aspects but it is still a great game. I hope the developers make more of such lovely games. I am excited to keep playing.
It's okay, 6/10. Gameplay wise, the game gets repetitive quite quickly, and most of the abilities and items in each run are useless and never used/picked. Each of the three classes essentially gets funneled into one usable build, and builds are determined by RNG getting good abilities. If you're looking for a real turn-based strategy game with strategy, play XCOM or battle brothers. This is more of an RNG simulator while reading long cutscenes. Would recommend buying and trying on sale, but not full price.
Very fun game. If you desperately need to play dnd but don’t have a way to actually play dnd, this is a great way to scratch that itch. The combat is fun, levelling up is interesting, and the stories told are always interesting.
我他妈再相信小红书测评我吃大粪。 新故事可传承角色有限,不适合OC。 初始人物职业并不能改变,也不适合做DND代餐。 花80多快买了我不是冤大头是什么?
I really enjoyed this game, perfect for when you want to play a chill, non-twitchy game. When you create a party they are very basic personality-wise, but as they go through their adventures and the story develops it is really interesting to watch them grow. Or lose limbs, gain transformations, fall in love, gain powerful artifacts, etc. The random events can get kind of repetitive the longer that you play, but overall it is a lot of fun. Some of the campaigns have better writing than others, but over all they are fairly interesting. I actually picked this game to play to have something to play while folding clothes, and it is perfect for that. Or any other task where you may have to walk away for a minute or two. It will wait for you as long as it needs to. The art style is beautiful, and pretty unique with the paper doll aspect. They made really interesting sets too, and the stories are varied. I would definitely recommend.
