Wildermyth follows heroes over their whole careers, from their pitchfork days to their powerful primes, and on into old age and memory. It’s a party-based procedural storytelling RPG where tactical combat and story decisions will alter your world and reshape your cast of characters.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 2.67/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

fun little game, unique skills and skill advancement
It's a good game and it looks great. There's a bit too much story IMO and too many settings. I just want some good art and some bare bones combat and difficulty settings. I don't want so many options when it comes to the start of gameplay. Just throw me in, then let me choose how I upgrade and strategize.

Jogo extremamente divertido!
After starting, though finishing atleast 3, the scripted campaigns, I decided I wanted even more tales for my pantheon of reusable, metaprogressed heroes and their children, children's children, you get the point. Wonderfully crafted party-based RPG that really leans into procedural generation and emergent story telling. By the end of my 70 hours, I had a veritable village of heroes with different mutations, rivalries and romances, gear, and special abilities so that no two really felt alike, though harder difficulties did force class builds/ tried and tested strategies in order to survive. The spectrum from cozy to challenging is all here through thorough and HIGHLY customizable difficultly sliders and options. Gameplay generally exists across a set number of chapter (1-3 I believe?) that tell a grander story. Each story has an overworld map wherein you'll send or split your party to explore, fortify, defend, and strike out against enemy strongholds before culminating in a final, scripted dungeon and fight that you'll definitely want a full party on. Time passes during hero travel; new opportunities can arise, regions can fall, sieges begun all while moving your party from point a to point b, so planning in the overworld has actual consequences on how difficult your chapter will be. An easy rule of thumb is the more time spent in each chapter, the more difficult the entire story becomes as new enemy types, buffs, and debuffs start popping off. When getting to a point of interest in the overworld, a grid-based tactical combat ensues. Your typical action point, movement point economy typifies the combat. The art style has a slight 3d feel with paper cut outs for enemies, allies, and matching artistic renderings of terrain (buildings, rocks, houses, etc) and small animations that liven the characters up (static pieces don't do it for me). Different classes have different strategies and ways to approach enemies, but personally the magic system's inherent use of the environment through abilities called Infusions is a stand out. Different effects sprout from using the abilitiy on different forms of terrain; infusing a barrel, using its splinters on a group of enemies is far different than animating a weapon rack after all. Class builds are fun to shoot for, but there is a degree of randomness on level up as well as the gear you come across in your adventures (though you will have a chance to buy some equipment in between chapters, currency for which is found in the overworld through events and building fortifications). Still have fond memories of my heroic raven beaked, hammer and shield wielding paladin that would heroically zip around the battlefield. TLDR: worth playing if you want to procedurally generate an adventure with friends or solo
Amazing
Interesting game that has a solid framework. Could use more variety on armor styles though and have them better follow the color scheme you pick for the character.
WOW
Amazing game, fantastic stories. I enjoy turn-based combat games, and if you do I highly recommend this game. It has a novel approach to magic as well, where your characters connect to objects on the battlefield and use them for various attacks and other effects. It makes them useful for more than just cover, so the layout of the battlefield informs your strategy. It took me a little while to get used to the graphics, but I really enjoyed watching the characters update with the armors, items and weapons they picked up. It gives them each a unique style. The transformations are fun too, and the pets (and spirits!!) are adorable as well as useful. It's a charming game, and it's worth reading through and enjoying the stories in addition to the combat. I was a bit baffled early on at some odd character behavior... if this happens to you, check the characteristics and you'll find you wound up with a "goofball." Once I figured that out it made a lot more sense. And honestly I love that the characters have these characteristics that affect how they interact with the narrative. A++ game, cannot recommend highly enough!
Very fun party-rpg!
