This is how you do a multiplayer game! Great variety, a charming aesthetic, well rounded controller support, up to 8 players local and all that for a very small price. This is game design done right! I'm very glad I made this purchase and can wholeheartedly recommend.

I tried playing it with friends and none of us enjoyed it. It got boring very quick and the game is quite repetitive; i played about 30 minutes trying the different game modes but we just wanted to play a better game instead. the game also doesn't explain the controls very well at all. If i were to recommend getting a 4 player co op game, get stick fight instead. much easier to pick up and play and has much more content. I regret buying this game, it's not a badly made game and it doesn't have bugs but it is just boring.

[h1]Wild Glory is an arena-brawler-party game up to 8 simultaneous players[/h1] It got 5 game modes: 4 competitive (Arena, Explosive Soccer, Sharpshooter, Hammerflag) 1 local co-op (Lion Attack) [b]Arena mode[/b] is a classic brawler free-for-all fun pvp. Feel to me like it's the classic / standard game mode. [b]Explosive Soccer[/b] is a fun twist where you can't beat other players directly: you have to kill players with an explosive ball in a slippery arena. [b]Sharpshooter[/b] is the pure-skill mode, where luck is less important. You can't throw weapons and there are no bombs. [b]Hammerflag[/b] is a great mode to play with friends. You have to collect coins and the players with most coins wins in the end.. but when you die you lose all of it. Last second game-changers add a great spice to the experience. Finally, [b]Lion Attack[/b], the only co-op mode (a welcome one). It's kinda challenging: you gotta learn patterns, timing, what items to buy, etc. [b]Conclusion[/b]: for the price tag of only U$2.99, its a no-brainer. It's well polished, with smooth gameplay, lots of weapons, hazard variety and diverse gameplay. [b]Great couch-party experience at a small cost.[/b]

Wild Glory isn't the first local multiplayer gladiator arena themed game, several other games the same theme, and the mechanics are quite familiar. Spawning weapons which can be thrown, is particular, is a fairly common mechanic these days. However Wild Glory offers more of a gladiator arena feel than other games. The stands, filled with spectators, while offering no interaction, do serve set an atmosphere. Wild Glory is also the first to tackle this theme in pixel graphics. The addition of multiple game modes, including co-op modes, is also something that sets this game apart from its counterparts. The biggest drawback, compared to other similar games, is the attacks. While many gladiator games offer some sort of physics system for attacks, or at least multi-directional attacks, despite free form aiming Wild Glory only lets you attack left and right, which can make combat frustrating at times. The attacks are far more generic as well, and the lack of shields and/or physics systems allowing for parrying makes combat a lot more dull than in similar themed games. Despite some flaws, the bottom line is that Wild Glory can be fun, is different enough from other games in the market, and for the $3 price tag is more than worth a purchase.
