About
Whimel Academy is a slow-paced time manager set at a fantastical school for witches, wizards, and budding mages. You’ll explore the campus, attend classes in subjects like herbology and potion-making, meet new friends, and maybe find a romantic connection.

Extracurriculars remain an integral part of life at Whimel Academy. Explore part-time jobs around campus to earn money and stat points towards different specialties. Shelve books in the library, grow new plants in the garden, or conduct research in the astronomy tower to earn money for events around the academy.
Your wages can be exchanged for a sweet treat in the dining hall, a new book downtown, or accessories for your dorm, including a record player and a cauldron. If you have a particular specialty–such as potion-making or painting–try selling your wares to fund future projects. As you work, however, be mindful of your energy level; you can take a rest in your dorm when needed.

As you grow more accustomed to campus, get to know your fellow students. A diverse set of in-game characters, each with unique interests and personalities, are excited to meet you. Interact with these students to increase your friendship level, creating more opportunities for meaningful conversation. Lifelong friendships and youthful romance are waiting to be discovered at Whimel Academy!

You can freely decorate your avatar, your room, and your beloved kitty. Collect and decorate to your heart's content to show off your unique taste and personality.
Immerse yourself in a charming fantasy world filled with delightful details, a cozy atmosphere, and slice-of-life experiences that transport players to a magical realm. Stepping into this world would be like coming back to a half-forgotten childhood home.

Specialize in different tracks of magic throughout the game. Different combinations of stats would grant you one of the 30+ endings when you graduate.

Art is absolutely gorgeous. I had a fun time and really enjoyed the variety of characters. This wasn't a long game, but it has replayability. Many dialogue options, so you can have a unique relationship each time. My only gripe with the game is how expensive everything is compared to how little money you can make. You have to choose between looking cute, having a cute dorm room, or improving your stats. It didn't ruin the game for me, just made me sad I couldn't have the dorm of my dreams...
This is such a wholesome, relaxing game! There are a lot of customization options and academic paths to explore. I highly recommend it!
I have spent 40+ hours on this unassuming little sim game and know I will binge it again at some point. (The secret is obsessing over a single character and a single narrative route and wanting to get the interactions just right - yes, I am a single-minded fool) It's almost exclusively text-based with a few magical dailies thrown in, and it's soft, comforting and just perfect to wind down with. When I last played it, I thought it was a pity that going into the forest location and exploring or gathering didn't get you small items (plant-based potion ingredients, maybe?) as freebies in addition to ability points. I was expecting something a bit like Lioden in that regard, and if it hasn't been added since then, I hope that it eventually will. The artstyle is lovely (with the sole exception of the lack of hands. Where the heck have the fingers and thumbs gone????!?), the soundtrack is lovely, the witch-theme is lovely AND speaks straight to my soul as someone who used to watch Magical DoReMi as a kid. I love the customization options for the avatar, the cat and the room. Wish there were even more of those somehow.
This game is so cute. It reminds me a lot of I Was a Teenage Exocolonist in the best way possible. The character creator is fantastic there are so many different options and the art style is just adorable in general. I can't wait to see where this game goes in the future as it get new updates and expansions. I wish there were some other game play features. My only real note on this game is that after about two years it starts to feel pretty repetitive. I would go to some classes, work in the library, talk to NPCs, ect. I hope we'll see more gameplay and world expansions in the future.
Adorable, cozy, and even thought the mechanics are pretty simple I do think I'll play though a few times because the experience is going to be different enough
Very cute graphics, cozy and enjoyable game. However, it does become repetitive quite quickly. I wish there were more random events or extra things to do outside of socialize/study/class circle.
Graphics are so cute! The gameplay and story are very nice as well.
Very charming game, all the characters in it are lovely; there isn't much replay value in the narrative itself but if you like designing a different student each time you go to the school it's pretty cute as a dress-up and room design-game (costly to collect them goods though!) I wish there was cloud saving.
I loved that game overall. The music is chill, the management is enjoyable (a bit slow in the beginning but hey that's the beginning), the characters are lovely... Really good management game. Therefore, I think the game should have more depth regarding the characters. Maybe adding little cutscenes or something like that. I felt in love pretty quickly with Theo but I feel like the romance is lacking depth (almost no more events after confessing is a bit sad). And the ending screen is a bit confusing. The letters are a really great idea, but I don't even know if Theo and I are in a relationship or not. I would have loved to see some end screen like Volcano Princess for example which has very cute and concrete endings (if you don't know that game, I can only recommend it to you it's awesome!). But I know you're a single dev and all you did so far is truly amazing! Love the game and hope you'll continue working on it on the future. But if you aren't, that's okay, I still enjoy a lot that game and will absolutely do another run! Great job, and I hope even though you stop working on Whimel Academy that you'll work on other games!
