Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Whimel Academy is a slow-paced time manager set at a fantastical school for witches, wizards, and budding mages. You’ll explore the campus, attend classes in subjects like herbology and potion-making, meet new friends, and maybe find a romantic connection.

Extracurriculars remain an integral part of life at Whimel Academy. Explore part-time jobs around campus to earn money and stat points towards different specialties. Shelve books in the library, grow new plants in the garden, or conduct research in the astronomy tower to earn money for events around the academy.
Your wages can be exchanged for a sweet treat in the dining hall, a new book downtown, or accessories for your dorm, including a record player and a cauldron. If you have a particular specialty–such as potion-making or painting–try selling your wares to fund future projects. As you work, however, be mindful of your energy level; you can take a rest in your dorm when needed.

As you grow more accustomed to campus, get to know your fellow students. A diverse set of in-game characters, each with unique interests and personalities, are excited to meet you. Interact with these students to increase your friendship level, creating more opportunities for meaningful conversation. Lifelong friendships and youthful romance are waiting to be discovered at Whimel Academy!

You can freely decorate your avatar, your room, and your beloved kitty. Collect and decorate to your heart's content to show off your unique taste and personality.
Immerse yourself in a charming fantasy world filled with delightful details, a cozy atmosphere, and slice-of-life experiences that transport players to a magical realm. Stepping into this world would be like coming back to a half-forgotten childhood home.

Specialize in different tracks of magic throughout the game. Different combinations of stats would grant you one of the 30+ endings when you graduate.

This game is so cute. It reminds me a lot of I Was a Teenage Exocolonist in the best way possible. The character creator is fantastic there are so many different options and the art style is just adorable in general. I can't wait to see where this game goes in the future as it get new updates and expansions. I wish there were some other game play features. My only real note on this game is that after about two years it starts to feel pretty repetitive. I would go to some classes, work in the library, talk to NPCs, ect. I hope we'll see more gameplay and world expansions in the future.
I just finished one playthrough and absolutely love the game. It's a cozy and casual stat-raising sim, with no big story, big drama or big consequences. I don't think I'll play more as I have achieved what I wanted and the endings are more a results of your stats than actual endings it seems. I would still recommend it to anyone that wants a chill and cozy time. I grew to like those characters and my time at Whimel Academy.

An enjoyable, visually pleasing, cozy game. It starts off a little slow/tough, you aren't making much money and will find your character often tired, but stick with it. Develop your skills, meet interesting characters, and plan for many replays!
Pretty, gentle, cosy, but ultimately unfullfiling. This game is so chill, as far as I can tell you can't really 'lose'. Nothing dreadful happens if you slack off. You can make friends, indulge in hobbies, do a parttime job, or even attend class. You can decorate your room, your cat, and yourself. (And decorative items stay unlocked for future playthroughs, so you only need to earn/buy them once). This is the perfect game if you just want to chill out for a bit, and get hooked into a fun little gameplay loop. It's just... it needed MORE. Some kind of story. Or events. Or SOMETHING. The closest it gets is the NPCs you can befriend/romance. They all have stories, some of which are mildly compelling. But I played through once for the 'hermit' ending, not speaking to anyone, and there wasn't really much difference. If you become friends, they'll send you a letter after graduation. If you dated them, the letter will probably address you as 'my love' or similar. While you can achieve 30 endings, there's no graphic or cut-scene, you just click a crystal ball, it tells you all the endings you qualified for, and you can read the text that tells you what it was. It's not bad just... felt rather anti-climactic. A reasonably thorough playthrough can be done in around 6.5 hours (so a little over an hour per ingame year). If you want to rush through and not really speak to people, you're looking at 4-5 hours. It's an interesting little time waster if you enjoy the aesthetic and like time-management school sims. Just don't expect an epic story or moving relationships.
It's so fun and cute! The characters are so fun and I love the dialogue. However, it takes forever to level up any stats, so I wish that there were more parts of the day or that it didn't take as long to level up.
This is such a wholesome, relaxing game! There are a lot of customization options and academic paths to explore. I highly recommend it!
i absolutely adore this game. i love a cozy time management sim & the artwork is beautiful! i really enjoyed all the characters stories over the years.
还行,就是玩的太累了,后期基本每天都是几点一线,感情戏也比较慢,要有耐心
Very cute graphics, cozy and enjoyable game. However, it does become repetitive quite quickly. I wish there were more random events or extra things to do outside of socialize/study/class circle.
I absolutely love this game. I search for games just like this one, and they are hard to find. The art style is beautiful. Most people would find this game unexciting. It is a cozy game for me. You attend classes from year one to year six for four weeks. You don't have to attend all the classes. You steadily raise your stats each day. By raising your stats, you can approach five of the other students on campus, which are all romanceable. Each student has their own criteria on how to befriend and romance them. At the end of year six, you graduate. You receive letters from any of the students you befriended. I played this game so much and earned all the achievements. It's such a darling game. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone searching for a cozy game where you can play and relax.
