When The Night Comes

I really love this game y'all

It just wasn't for me. I didn't find the characters particularly interesting and the main plot didn't keep my attention.

I was drawn in by the worldbuilding, gorgeous characters, amazing VAs, and the allure of so many paths to try.. but I do find some of the delivery lacking and the pace tedious. I came back to it after a while to complete the story and I'm glad I did! There is so much cool Lunaris worldbuilding that I wish we got to see outside of this main storyline. I felt sad that they skip or skim over what could be incredibly character interactions, especially with wrapping up the individual character routes at the end of the story. I think if the romance paths would alter the story or include more personalized interactions with the characters, it would have been much more enjoyable to work through the main events. The characters were interesting and I loved August and Ezra in particular, but I wish there was more diversity in the NPC routes. The UI is kinda terrible and cannot be adjusted for accessibility needs, but there is an assistive text to speech function for those who want it. Some of the text skipping is wonky but it's easy enough to get through if you're a completionist.

Some of the romances are super duper not for me, but the ones that are - ARE. And Gideon Emery plays the vampire, so.

This game is really good I have enjoyed it so far I haven't done Piper, Alkar, Omen or the omen+Alkar routes but I do look forward to them. Aside from the characters the main plot is good very thought out and detailed.

I liked the story quite a bit. The characters were all pretty unique and each had their own backgrounds, which were all interesting. I don't really have anything bad to say about it. I had a lot of fun. Definitely recommend.
