What Remains of Edith Finch

When playing this, I thought it was gonna be little more than a walking simulator. Instead, I found a tragic yet wonderfully told story of loss. A story for the ages, unable to be told as effectively in any other medium.

晕3D人的噩梦级别游戏。 死的都非常有创意，杀鱼的那位演我在工位，非常有代入感。 魔幻现实主义奠基作《佩德罗·巴拉莫》最后才告诉读者原来全都是亡魂，连胡安自己也是荡在科马拉的亡魂之一，跟游戏中操控的第一视角的主角一样，原来“我”早就在建好的墓地里了。

I'm heavily impressed by the variety of stories and gameplay elements they managed to pack into such a short game. But overall it didn't resonate with me as much as I expected. The reason was probably that while the gameplay elements did benefit from their quick rotation, the story parts did not. Still recommended but it's not the very meaningful experience I was hoping for. 78/100

What Remains of Edith Finch is a really special game indeed. I bought this since I heard it's a unique experience and yeah sure it was. The story is well written and all but clearly the best thing about this game was it's execution as a video game. Every tale told in their own respectful and different way was very interesting to follow and made the gameplay more than just "walking simulator". The story didn't really resonate with me that much even though it was a special one. But how story is told makes it truly stand out. Another one of those cases where the story is best told in a video game format. I really hope these developers are cooking something even bigger and ambitious since this game really showcases what they are capable of. Play this more as and experience than as a game. Solid 8/10 for me.

Impressive storytelling! All the endings made me upset but I think there are still many questions unanswered.

完全算剧情和音乐都制作的非常精良的游戏，视角变换很有创意，芭芭拉那里确实给我唬住了，这部分算是高能吧？Molly部分有点晕是开小窗口玩的，全游最厉害的就是Lewis的故事，设计不断切三文鱼就是一种呼应在罐头厂工作的单调，机械的动作就是一种荒诞的感觉，尤其是幻想部分，童话风但是剧情却是一种超现实，加冕的音乐加上断头台的设计完全就是意识流。 结尾也是赚了我一波眼泪。。。
