Westwood Shadows

Ich glaube hier weiß der oder die Entwickler selbst nicht was sie wirklich wollen. Der Prolog war vielversprechend gemacht aber das eigentliche Spiel ist einfach nur noch enttäuschend. Anstatt als Detektiv einen Fall zu lösen, wie in der Beschreibung versprochen, laufe ich als Spieler umher um letztendlich irgendwelche Geister abzuschießen. Ab und zu gibt es mal eine Aufgabe bzw. ein Rätsel zu lösen - ganz toll... Das beste ist aber die Preispolitik die hier gefahren wird. Plötzlich ist der Vollpreis gesenkt auf 9,99 €, alle Spieler wie ich die vorher gekauft haben sind die Gekniffenen, veralbern kann ich mich selbst. Zur Kaufzeit war das Spiel laut Beschreibung unter anderen auch in deutscher Sprache verfügbar, ist aber nur in englisch zu spielen. Die Beschreibung wurde plötzlich angepasst. Die beiden letzten genannten Punkte gehen gar nicht auch wenn dieses Spiel momentan EA ist. Das kann potentielle Käufer nur abhalten und das ist auch meine Empfehlung.

Ill start my review with this, the game is still early access and yes there are bugs. Let's Start. First of all if u have played the prologue do not enter this game thinking its going to be the same. Its nothing like the prologue, the main game consists of more action, survival exploration. Pros + there is tutorials in game to explain, certain mechanics. + graphics are decent + story is good, but i recommend replaying the prologue so u can remember all the details, if u just jump into main game, u might forget alot like i did. + game has decent amount of playtime and replayability Cons + the puzzles are too complicated and should have hints ( but devs are looking into feedback to adjust this) + the save system / vending machine resource management, i had no problems with it but not everyone that plays can get perfect headshots on each monster, so u might struggle with lack of ammo ( explore everywhere) Saving requires coins each time, and the vending machine to buy ammo utilizes the same coins. + graphics can get choppy during cutscenes ( again early access and they are working on it) + no in game tracker for your documents ( so u never know how many your missing, its not a super bid deal but for myself that literally explored everywhere, i want to know how many i missed). overall i do recommend the game, i did enjoy it. I state have patience when playing and explore everywhere, the shadows do require a ton of bullets to take out. So check everywhere for your ammos. give the game a chance, and if u have any issues or need some help. Let me know

Juegazo ! Contiene un prologo de una hora y algo, y luego el juego base que deben ser como 4 o 5 horas de juego. Una pena que todo este en ingles, ojala lo traduzcan al español. Pero lo que es la jugabilidad y la historia estan buenos. Si te gusta resident evil 7 y las cosas paranormales tipo sombras a lo Alone in the dark este juego te puede gustar OJO ! ( tiene puzles complicados ) Lo digo para la gente que no le gustan y o se atascan con facilidad.

Decided to give this game a chance even if I dont really play this kind of games much...Incredible sound effects and somehow scary so they fit just fine, simplfied Shooting. Quite challenging puzzles that make the game even better.

Westwood Shadows shows great potential during early access. Having played the prologue of the game a few months back, I have to say that the overall experience is greatly improved. - Spooky atmosphere, very on point music & sfx. Graphics can be improved but they work for me. - Puzzles are clever and the shadows relentless. - Very nice touch to be able to hide/show the HUD, especially for an early access game. For the indie horror gamer out there, I do recommend this.

Westwood Shadows delivers an atmospheric experience. For players who love good puzzles and 1st Person exploration of a good detective story it is a game for you. The combat system could be better as it doesn't add points to the whole experience (the shadows do not have attack moves and livelihood in general) However, as a whole the game is very professionaly made, the story is interesting and the atmosphere fascinating Would recommend it to first person horror fans

Played the game for 3.5 hours and a half now . Pretty good game with nice vibe. No bugs so far .only thing that bothers me a bit is the blur effect when turning around. I like the fact that i can shoot and not just hold a camera or something and hide. The puzzles even difficult they are clever and need attention in order to solve them . Story wise the game is good and can't wait to see the end

I love hunting clues and mysteries.

Played the Main story and so far puzzles and atmosphere are great. The controls are far better than what I was expecting based on other indie games. Story seems interesting too.
