HORROR: Great PUZZLES: Great FUN: Good STORY: Good MUSIC: Good VOICE / ACTORS: Good EXECUTION: Good SUMMARY: Solid, horror, puzzle experience game, with good mechanics and immersive qualities. To me, the overall quality and execution of the game exceeds the boundaries of an "indie" game.
It was a very good game. I loved everything about it except the story line was a little bit short and there was some doors that was locked and they didn't even have a key to open them. I am the type of person if i see a door i want to see what is behind that door.
This is an ok game. Shooting mechanics are good for this type of game. I'm glad its not the resident evil style of shooting. Obstacles get in the way while shooting sometimes. I was shooting over a handrail at a shadow and all of the bullets just ricocheted. I was on target but it was like an invisible wall was in the way. The chase was a bit long and uncalled for. Not bad
It starts strong with the prologue, but never manages to recapture that high during the rest of the game. Combat isn't very interesting, there is way too much ammo and health and a chase sequence that drags on for far too long. Atmosphere is mostly good (particularly during the prologue). 6/10
Nice game, nice visuals/audio, and the story makes you consider some things in real life. Looking forward for more stuff from this developer. If you have doubts, try at least the prologue which is free, and decide for yourself!
I enjoyed this game. It still has bugs but only twice did it stop progress. Once in the prologue (had no flashlight), and one cut-scene crashed the game, but both continued upon reloading the save. Big difficulty spikes. Most of the game the ghosts aren't a problem, at all, but the boss ghosts can wreck yer booty. Some of the puzzles can too. Overall would play again once the game is finished.
This might not be a AAA game and I did encounter some minor issues while playing but overall I must say I enjoyed the game. The prologue features only puzzle elements while the rest of the game has a bit of shooting but mostly to support the story which is actually really good with great ending. The visuals are considered a plus. I agree with some people that said that the enemies encounter maybe was not needed but it does not affect the experience that much. If you can grab it over a sale go for it.
While this game is made by a small studio, it is evident it is an ambitious attempt, and they've really tried to add something interesting to every aspect of the game, including a few twists and turns on the story! Great atmosphere, solid level design, and an interesting combination of puzzles, exploration and tension. Definitely a thinking person's game. Overall, I had a blast playing through and finishing this game over the last couple of days! Given that this is a tiny studio, and an early access game, it is also noteworthy how few bugs or technical issues I've encountered!
If you're looking for a horror game then this is not for you. This has very mild horror but great atmosphere and very challenging puzzles. Combat is nothing special but it doesn't seem to be the main feature of the game. I'll check back again after Early Access to see how the final game is shaped.
Good game, the story seems very interesting and the music/ sound effects are great!
