I really enjoy Reflect Studio's previous work and I feel they're the gold standard of this type of horror but for now this game is in a pretty poor state. I really hope down the line this game fixes a bunch of the glaring issues but for now I've refunded it. I still look forward to the Dev's future work and I will remain a fan of the franchise but for now it's not worth playing.
Cant even play the game. When I play it and I am on the browser for the sites the screen is just pure white. Whenever I take my cursor to my second monitor and click it only then does the page actually load. However once I bring my cursor back and click into the game I am unable to scroll on the page at all or even click on the many links. The only way I can actually move around the browser is if my cursor is on my second monitor. Even if I do that I hear 0 audio since I am technically not in the game. I was really looking forward to this but at this time I cant even play it.

WHAT ARE WE DOING BRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ADD A QUEUE FOR THREATS AND FIX REP PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! making tanner a de facto noir check from ds is super out of character for him.

Really fun and addicting gameplay loop! The game has tension like no other game I've played before, making the jumpscares hit so absurdly hard. The game IS a bit buggy, but the developer is fixing bugs very regularly and is very receptive to player feedback! I haven't beat it yet, since it is extremely challenging, but its definitely fun and I recommend it to any horror fan!

Played WTTG2 years ago and loved it, so I was hyped for this. I still think the core concept is one of the most unique horror experiences out there. Having to micromanage so many things at once while staying alert for threats or issues..it keeps you on edge the entire time. The atmosphere is incredible, the visuals look great, and the additions like the group chat and interaction options with other players add a lot to the experience. That said, I've run into several issues that I don't think make the game more difficult in a good way. My biggest complaint is how often threats interrupt hacks. The hacks themselves are loud enough that you can barely hear Noir say "good boy," so you're left hoping you've waited long enough before moving. On top of that, Cletus can interrupt you for the goods in the middle of a hack, Tucker's music events can start mid hack, and some of these hacks are already long and difficult. It feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to be halfway through one with plenty of time left, only to be forced to nopsled it or fail because something spawned at THE worst possible time. It ends up feeling like setback after setback with very little you can do in response as the player. The recent balancing update also feels like it swung a little too far in the opposite direction. Before the patch there was too much downtime... now, even on normal, it just repeatedly feels like internet outage > power outage > Tanner > Noir > Cletus > ordering drugs for Cletus > Tucker music.. then right back into the same cycle. There are still moments where things calm down, but not often enough to reliably scan the group chat for sellers, buyers, hackers, hitmen, and everything else while also searching for keys and videos. Some of this is probably a skill issue and I will gladly admit that, but surviving the threats usually isn't what's getting me. It's finding enough time to actually progress with everything else. Also since the patch, I realize the amount the chatters pay for website links has been nerfed and that is fine but now you BARELY can find someone looking to buy site links at all, which was super beneficial early game. My other complaint is the audio during thunderstorms, Tucker's audio cue is just WAY too quiet during thunder and rain. I'm using Beyerdynamic headphones with a solid audio setup and I still struggle to hear the cue. I do hear when he leaves if I listen close enough but it shouldn't turn into a guessing game when the sounds can be heard just fine otherwise with clear weather. Overall, I still love the game, its atmosphere, and the gameplay loop. I think it's very fun with a lot of great ideas. I'm just going to wait for some balancing tweaks and bug fixes before I really dive into completing everything.
Easily the best game in the series
I went into this game completely blind, and it's been really fun, immersive and scary. I’ve had a great time streaming it to my friends on screenshare. I'm also an absolute coward when it comes to horror games, so this is helping me get over that, even though I screamed so loud at a Tanner jumpscare that my family thought I died lmao. The only time I genuinely got stuck and had to look up an outside guide was to figure out where the bomb was. If you enjoyed watching playthroughs of Welcome to the Game I & II or FNAF, you should definitely buy this. Playing it yourself is a whole different level; The closest thing I can compare it to is that it feels like FNAF on steroids, Noir are basically Golden Freddy LOL In all seriousness though, I don't really agree with the current "most helpful" negative review.

WIFI: The WIFI disconnecting often is a deliberate gameplay mechanic designed to punish you if you spam the panic button. My WIFI went off every 10 minutes until I figured this out lol.
Sound Cues: Having to turn up your volume to listen for audio cues can be a bit annoying, but it's easily solved if you have a physical volume slider or a keyboard shortcut etc.
Price: The development team is tiny, so I think the price is pretty fair for what you get.

Bugs and Dev Support
I’ve encountered a few bugs, including one game-breaking issue where VirtMesh wouldn't open. However, the developer is incredibly active in the discussion boards. I've even reported another bug myself, the dev replied, and it was patched just a few hours later. Pushing out three or four patches in four days suggests the game probably should have been released in Early Access. But considering how small the team is, bugs are to be expected with an indie launch, and I'm grateful for how fast they are being fixed.
Final Verdict:
Highly recommended. It has some rough edges, but the atmosphere and dev support make it well worth it. These games are really unique and immersive and you won't really find a similar experience elsewhere unless you count my stupid FNAF comparison that I'm sure will make someone angry lol.
this plays at a snail's pace. it's so extremely boring! there's nothing happening, yet you need to be as quiet as possible in order to hear the world's quietest audio cues. you can die to some of the killers with literally 0 way of fighting back against them if you didn't buy/find the right things on time (this would be fine if you weren't served a wall of text and expected to know every killer off the bat). the game understands that it's difficult, but it's difficult in a way that really sucks: withholding information, poor tutorials, and walls of text you need to scroll through several times to understand everything correctly. it also sucks that this game doesn't really do anything new compared to the first 2 games. same gameplay loop. largely the same killers. the game seems to acknowledge how bad it feels to play, because they felt it was necessary to implement an auto-save (never done before in the other 2 games) in order to make you not want to rip your hair out from boredom/frustration.
To get the compliments out of the way, this is my favorite entry in the WTTG series. However, that bar is pretty low. The first and second game are well known for being brutal to an unfair extent and not teaching you anything about the mechanics. This game is only slightly not as bad. The tutorial is marginally better with a proper description of each killer and how to "deal" with them. Lucas isn't a nightmare, however Tanner takes his spot on being a thorn in the player's side early on. The inclusion of normal mode allows for anybody to get into the game and try to get through it without the brutal time wastes of dying. However, the still cryptic nature of mechanics and needing to rely on pure dumb luck on finding keys is unfortunately a big downside. Mix all of this with a developer who is VERY problematic and against most forms of criticism and input said about his game and you get an experience that's very hard to recommend. Edit: To describe the confusing nature of this game, an example of a potential (not sure due to confusion) bug I found where my power went out as soon as the music box for Tucker began to play, locking my automatic doors and making the prospect of getting outside in time close to impossible.
