Information / Review English
Weed Harvest is a small simulation game developed by Valkeala Softwares.
Gameplay / Story
Harvesters are technical devices with varying degrees of automation for harvesting agricultural products. They enable the harvest to be brought in efficiently and reduce the human, time and therefore economic effort. One of the most well-known harvesting machines is the combine harvester. However, there are also machines that support harvesting work for many other agricultural products. In this game you drive such a machine. Your task is to cut weeds in a large open world and enjoy the harmonious landscape. The controls are easy to handle. Your goal is to become the best weed cutter in the world.
Pro
+ Capable/Physics Test Simulation + colorful/harmonious graphics + atmospheric background music + open game world + good controls + suitable price/performance ratio + Achievements
Contra
- gets boring quickly
Conclusion
Weed Harvest offers you a small simulation game that will put your skills to the test.
First of all, thank you to the developer for providing us with this key for the group. Here you can find more good reviews from others and me and if you liked the review, then we would be happy about a thumbs up.

Information / Review Deutsch
Not a bad game but definitely not my favorite genre! Someone else might probably enjoy it and think it's alright. It's better than most and I did have some fun with it. Weed Harvest by Developer Tero Lunkka, Valkeala Software Drive a harvester machine and cut down weeded areas in this open world driving simulation game. Earn 8 Steam achievements by driving, cutting weeds and collecting different items. Simple huh? Be the best weed cutter in the world and cut down all areas while looking for specific items. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3244302273 This game is alright, just not my cup of tea. Some of the time the harvester would stop and not move forward or reverse, I had gas and was not stuck against any trees. Or sometimes it would not cut anything while moving over the weeds. Then I found the solution: you HAVE to press E for it to cut the grass. Genius! I will give it a few more tries and see what I can figure out. Be forewarned the controls are kinda wonky. At least they seemed that way to me. But it's just probably me. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3244303509 Pros: * Nice Music * 8 Achievements * Family Sharing * No Issues with Windows 11 Cons: * No Trading Cards * Profile Features Limited https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3244302730 Rating: 5/10 Final Thoughts: This game is alright but not what I am used to playing. This is where it would be great to have a neutral button. I did have some fun while figuring out what to do. You will most likely enjoy it more than I did. I had some issues like trying to move forward/back or left/right sometimes. Other times it worked alright. There are several items you go around trying to find and get achievements for finding them. I found them all. I'm amazed!

[th] This review was submitted for Elite Giveaways, where every game deserves a review.
This driving sim offers an open field playing area. The game offers timed objectives. The developer uses the unreal engine which is more demanding than Intel/AMD integrated graphics. For that reason a gaming laptop or desktop is needed with at least 24 CU to be safe.
Warning: Asset Flip! Weed Harvest is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unreal Marketplace packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took the usual lawnmower assets he usually steals and asset flips with to make a hemp themed game, but basically this is just a copy + paste of his other asset flipped lawnmower games. There's no reason anyone should charge money for this, it's just an asset flip scam. It has no value or merit as a real game. Tero Lunkka/Valkeala Software have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Nash Racing" = Advanced Tuning Cars developed by James Novih
"Thirsty Bubble" = Low Poly Scenario Pack+POLYGON Knights Pack+Simple Dungeons developed by
"Survival Isolation" = Easy Survival RPG v3 developed by Easy Systems
"Fancy the Frog" = Pixel Adventure 1 developed by Pixel Frog
"Lawnmower Game: Pinball" = Pinball Construction Kit developed by Epic Games
"Nash Racing 2" = Advanced Tuning Cars developed by James Novih
"The Warrior Of Treasures" = Dynamic Combat System developed by Grzegorz Szewczyk
"Aliens Dont Exist" = Alien Character - Free Sprite developed by Craftpix
"Cyborg Invasion Shooter" = Third Person Shooter Kit developed by Epic Games
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The developers didn't design the game for modern gaming PCs, as such the display resolution caps out at around 1440p, there's no support for the state-of-the-art 4K or higher resolutions. The game simply won't look right on modern gaming displays due to this failure on the part of the developers. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Weed Harvest is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.

Struggle to control your riding mower around a nearly empty 3D map to collect 8 achievements. This game-shaped object is yet another example of a thinly-veiled asset flip from shovelware developer Lunkka.
If this is somehow the first of the many developer's games you've clicked on, here's what to expect:

A vehicle that controls worse than a boulder rolling uphill
Nothing to interact with, collect, or explore. The map is a barren valley enclosed by rocks
Mowing the "weed" accomplishes nothing. Score is meaningless
No levels or stages, what you see in the screenshots is all you get
No win state or ending of any kind
The bronze, silver, and gold "weed" collectibles are literal giant turds. Based developer for the self-insert
In short, an asset flip, and one brazenly proud of doing so, with less effort put into it than the one prior. Designed for achievement collectors, because, who else would buy this? Now over 100 of these exist, with no end in sight. On the plus side, I encountered no collision errors (falling off the map) that were present in other "games." Don't buy this. And if you must, look for DIG bundles or something similar. Don't forget it's restricted and won't add to your profile numbers.
Achievement Hunters: 20 minute idle + collide with 5 objects. There's a map in community guides, but suffice to say if you drive in a clockwise circle around the map you'll find them all on your own.
