Honestly by the end of the second section out of I think 4 or 5 sections I started getting infuriated because of how the levels got harder AND longer. I also really didn't like that you can't move manually and that its just auto running. Lastly some parts you have to be ridiculously precise even in the first section which just shouldn't be a thing until MAYBE the last couple levels of the game which I was nowhere near. If you like really difficult auto platformers go ahead and get this game but If I were to continue this game I would probably go insane.
i still have yet to finish it but boy it makes me wanna pee blood
For me the game was just too unforgiving to be enjoyable. Especially the later levels where you bounce around didn't really feel like I was in control. Combine that with the fact that any mistake you make sends you all the way back to the start and the game is just too "challenging" for my liking.
Only one button makes this closer to a rhythm game. Your mission is to escape from the prison. Except for a few words after completing a stage, there is no story. You only need to complete 60 stages across three different environments utilizing a single button that is linked to jumping. Your hero moves forward on its own. All you have to do is jump at the right moment to dodge obstacles and land on platforms. However, you do have a few additional abilities. The most typical technique is the double-jump, which allows you to climb any vertical wall or change direction when you jump off a wall. The double jump can also be performed normally, but instead of jumping higher, your character transforms into a ball and shoots ahead. This is frequently utilized to get past tight spaces or travel further. The last move is a bit tricky. When you jump into a wall, the momentum allows you to slide up. If you press jump just before contacting the wall, you will slide the furthest. New threats are flung to you at regular intervals. You begin with classic saws, then progress to bullets, spikes, reversed gravity, bubbles that fly up, etc. Although completing a stage is difficult enough, the game goes a step further. To truly open the exit, you must collect all of the diamonds. These are normally on the main path, so there is no need to take needless risks. The game puts a lot into precision and rhythm because you usually have only one shot to beat a stage. There are also very few spots, if any, where you can take a rest. Difficulty is fair because there are a few introductory stages before each new mechanic to let you get comfortable. Of course, you will still die a lot.
Very good, I loved how the game manages to take simple mechanics and use them to their full potential.
Fun an addictive game, reminds me a bit of the addiction that came with Super Meat Boy where it's frustrating but in a good way
A delightfully challenging precision platformer with fun gimmicks.
I personally didn't like the game
A hidden gem that should deserve more love, the platforming is great and the twist bends it into a dynamic, juicy and very enjoyable puzzle game. Fast, challenging and polished, great value for its price!
Reminds me of kizo mario and mario run had a child. I think the layout of the levels are really good but a few spots have very very tight spots that can be frustrating. Overall, I'm glad I bought the game.
