This is really good game I recommend this as a gamer, who love grinding and patience to do missions, side missions this is perfect for you who love to know the story behind it. About someone who want to do revenge because that person don't deseved to die.
Watch Dogs: The Game I Never Stopped Coming Back To

Over 2,000 Hours Later, and I Still Find Something To Enjoy
Watch Dogs is one of those games that has always had a strange reputation. When it first released, a lot of people were disappointed. The game was coming off the hype of its original reveal, with everyone expecting something that would completely change open-world games. When the final product arrived, some people felt like it didn't live up to those expectations. But honestly? I think time has been very kind to Watch Dogs. I first played Watch Dogs on PS4, and over the years I ended up putting over 2,000 hours into it. That isn't something I can say about many games. There was just something about this world, the atmosphere, and the way the gameplay came together that kept pulling me back in. Eventually, I picked it up on PC because I wanted to experience Chicago again, but this time with mods. And honestly, that was the perfect excuse to revisit a game I already loved.
Chicago Is Still One of the Best Open Worlds Ubisoft Created
One of the biggest strengths of Watch Dogs is its atmosphere. Chicago feels like an actual city instead of just a playground filled with objectives. The rain, the dark streets, the reflections on the pavement, and the constant feeling that everything is connected through the ctOS system create a unique identity. There is something about walking through the city while listening to conversations, watching people go about their lives, and realizing that everyone has their own story. The world feels less like a place built around the player and more like a place that continues existing without you. That was something Watch Dogs did really well.
The Hacking Gameplay Was Ahead of Its Time
The hacking mechanics are still one of the most memorable parts of the game. Being able to manipulate the city around you was such a cool idea. Stopping a train to escape, causing traffic accidents during a chase, shutting down power, or distracting enemies with cameras made you feel like you were actually using the city as a weapon. A lot of open-world games give you tools, but Watch Dogs made those tools feel connected to the world itself. You weren't just carrying another gadget. You were controlling the environment.
Aiden Pearce Is A Complicated Character
Aiden Pearce is probably one of the more divisive protagonists Ubisoft has created. He's not the most expressive character, and his constant serious attitude can definitely turn some people away. But I think that's part of what makes him interesting. Aiden isn't a superhero. He's someone who is angry, damaged, and obsessed with getting revenge after losing someone he cared about. The game doesn't always handle that perfectly, but there is something interesting about following someone who is constantly struggling between wanting justice and wanting revenge. The darker tone of Watch Dogs is something I really appreciate, especially compared to some of Ubisoft's later open-world games.
The PC Version With Mods Makes It Even Better
Coming back to Watch Dogs on PC was honestly a great experience. The modding community has done a lot to improve the game, especially visually. Mods like improved graphics, lighting changes, gameplay tweaks, and restoration projects help bring the original vision of the game closer to what many people expected when it was first revealed. Seeing Chicago with improved visuals, better atmosphere, and tweaks that make the gameplay smoother makes it feel like a fresh experience. It's also just fun seeing what the community has done with a game that many people thought was forgotten.
The Things That Haven't Aged Perfectly
Of course, Watch Dogs isn't flawless. Some of the missions can feel repetitive, especially when you're clearing out the same types of activities across the map. The driving can take some getting used to, and certain mechanics haven't aged as well compared to newer open-world games. The story also has moments where it feels like it could have gone further with its ideas. But despite those flaws, there's something about Watch Dogs that keeps bringing me back. A lot of games have more content, bigger maps, and more features, but they don't always have the same atmosphere.
Final Thoughts
Watch Dogs is a game that I think deserves more appreciation. It was released during a time when expectations were impossible to meet, and because of that, I think a lot of people overlooked what it actually did well. For me, this isn't just another open-world game. It's a game I spent thousands of hours with. It's a game I came back to years later because I wanted to experience that world again. It's a game that, even after all this time, still has something special about it. The PC version with mods only makes that experience better, giving an already enjoyable game a second life. Watch Dogs may not have changed open-world games forever like people expected it to. But it created a world, a gameplay style, and an atmosphere that I still enjoy coming back to.
9/10
A flawed but unforgettable open-world experience that still holds up years later.

Bought this game to become a master hacker. Ended up causing more traffic jams than actual crimes. +Aiden Pearce is colder than my fridge. +Hacking traffic lights never gets old. + Amazing atmosphere. +Still looks great after all these years. - Ubisoft Connect exists. 10/10 – I came to hack the city, stayed to make 37 innocent drivers question their life choices.

i have trouble modding and it drives me insane 10/10
