Gameplay was fun and hacking mechanics were also enjoyable. Story also keeps attention and interest throughout the playthrough. However, the port is awful in that forced aim assist locks your reticle onto enemies and makes gunfights awful to work against. Code/admin alterations were needed just to make the gunfights playable and even then they are still not working correctly.

Game is great, did play it originally on PS3. Wanted to replay on PC, bought it from summersale, installed and it did not start due to a weird license glitch. Created a ticket to Ubisoft and their only response was that they know the issue, but guessing as its a 10+year old game, Ubisoft will not spend time on fixing anything. So game good, Ubisoft bad
A nice solid game from Ubisoft, back then they were this good, i hope that they get better (i don think so). I rate it around 8/10, i really like the world building and connections between Aiden and the others, it feel quite alive and the Ending where everyone is talking about Aiden as the Mysterious "Vigilante", thats cool. But there is something quite lacking, we dont really know about the DeadSec community and Lucky Quin's Depth, but its alright, i pretty like the gameplay. I bought the game around 2 USD for 20+ Hours gameplay, nice deal. Would Recommend.
Title: A trench coat, a mid-life crisis, and an absolute joke of a completionist loop. Watch Dogs is basically like your grumpy uncle who puts on a heavy leather coat in the middle of July, walks around with a deadpan face, and honestly thinks he’s the coolest guy in the room. The Chicago atmosphere is great, the shooting feels solid, and the "Bad Blood" DLC is a masterpiece. Playing as an old guy who built a toy RC car just to electrocute corporate mercenaries is peak entertainment. But if you decide to go for 100% completion... man, what is wrong with you? The developers really thought a hacker game needed a hardcore drinking simulator. By level 10, the screen shakes so violently it looks like the main character is having a stroke, and your controller completely stops obeying the laws of physics. Your hands will literally cramp up like you've been doing construction work for twenty hours. And don't even get me started on the music app. You are supposed to be a legendary cyber-vigilante, but you end up stalking random homeless guys for four hours just to scan a specific indie track from their phones. You're basically a creepy guy eavesdropping on people. On top of that, you have to do 100 Foursquare check-ins at historic dumpsters. A grown man doing teenager social media stuff. Truly inspiring. Verdict: Play the story, finish the DLC, and run away to Watch Dogs 2 before your controller flies into the window. Score: 3 sober nights out of 10 broken analog sticks.
Playing Watch Dogs again years later feels different without the hype from 2014. While the main story holds up well, the side missions can feel repetitive. Still, even a decade late, the game is genuinely enjoyable. The hacking system is the core feature of the game allowing you to weaponize Chicago city's infrastructure like security cameras, traffic lights, steam pipelines and other devices giving you the freedom to complete most missions however you see fit. The gameplay is a solid balance of stealth, hacking, shooting and driving. If you're looking for a story-driven, open-world game with unique mechanics then I recommend giving Watch Dogs a shot. It's not a masterpiece, but it's a good game and its dark, rain-slicked atmosphere gives it a distinct edge over its more colorful sequels.
