Wartop

While this does take a while to get used to - the camera movement is not entirely intuitive - but once you do, I can't imagine any other way to play. The game is, I believe, created by somebody who loves to skirmish and wargame. This VTT works smoothly, flawlessly and has a decent set of add-on expansions with (so rumour has it) a lot of new stuff coming down the pipe. Game selection, map, terrain and unit choice is simple, straight forward and allows you to get into the game quickly. Rules, options and essentials are applied according to the game you are playing and it's possible to get set up and playing within 30 minutes. So far I have had no issues to speak of with this game, and am looking forward to making it work for a living over the summer when my son and several friends will be vacationing and looking to game. Love it, I've been recommending this to anybody who has ears or eyes. Hopefully some of them at least will take a look. Highly recommended to any and all, who like me, have absent or distant friends and cannot meet up regularly for a more conventional game.

I'm the creator of Brave Sun: Starship Miniatures Game. At first I wasn't sure about this VTT, and some features seemed like they were missing, so I submitted feedback based on my own playtests. The team has been very quick to implement new features and are very open to feedback, and the platform is already becoming significantly better. You have the opportunity to help shape Wartop, there are some awesome free starter packs in there, it is a lot of fun, go try it out!

It comes pre-loaded with various maps and terrain setups, making setup a breeze. Wartop's versatility means you can tailor your gaming experience to your liking. It's shaping up to be an epic journey where victory is just a click away!

I can clearly see this is a passion project. Its a bit like Tabletop Simulator, just for Skirmish games with great quality of life tools implemented. Also there are a bunch of game systems they licensed with original miniatures. The devs are constantly improving Wartop. They could improve the UI a bit in my opinion. If you like skirmish miniature games, this is a great platform to play on.
