Warranty Man

Warranty Man es un juego corto de terror con una premisa extraña pero intrigante: escapar de un inquietante vendedor de seguros en un garaje oscuro. Aunque su duración es breve y no se puede guardar la partida, logra generar tensión con sustos inesperados y escenarios aleatorios. No es perfecto, pero para una experiencia rara y gratuita, vale la pena probarlo.

This game is okay. It's not great, it's not awful. But it does have a liminal feeling I enjoy and the random appearance of Warranty Man did jump scare me a couple times. But holy hell is he loud! The screen effect when he's chasing you isn't the worst, but it is so very loud. The parking structure is very large and it takes forever to find everything. I couldn't believe it when I finished the game and say it took me nearly 40 minutes. So if you have the time and patience, it's a good way to kill some time. Thankfully the items you need to collect are illuminated to a degree. The parking structure itself doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I went down one ramp that took so long that I thought it must be important, but it was empty except for some cars and there were no other paths. So it was a long walk back up. I also clipped through another ramp and ended up under the map, but I didn't get stuck so no problem. The text on the end screen also goes past the edge of the screen ... so there's that.

Read about this game, played it once and just ran around. Did get a good deal on some bumper to bumper insurance.

You spend most of your time walking slowly through the sections hoping to find bank notes and the card. Incredibly boring. No quit button built in so you have to force close.

This game has fantastic atmosphere, the only issue I have with it is there is a lot of map, with not a lot going on in it. A good solution to this problem would be making a lot more than enough money spawn. For example spawning 50 bills around the map, but only requiring the 7 to collect still. But other than that maybe make The Warranty Man a bit smarter, like get slightly nudged in the direction you are, as I went about 15 minutes before he showed himself to me. Other than that for a free game it is phenomenal.

This one's okay. Nothing special, though. Basically, it's a comical horror game where you collect dollar bills in a massive underground car park, all whilst avoiding the Slenderman-esque monster: the Warranty Man. As other reviews have pointed out, a possible criticism is that the map is perhaps a bit too big and could be scaled down somewhat. Most will never read this, but I will review the games I find simply and thoroughly. 1 What is "Warranty Man?" A PS1 styled “Slender: The Eight Pages” clone. 2 What does this game play like? Walk and collect the notes (bank notes in this game) before the “Warranty Man” finds you. Simple rankings Story NA/10: None to speak of. Game play 5/10: The map is far too large for what this game wants to be. (The map is very creepy and could have been used well in another game, but that game does not exist.) You will spend the majority of your time wandering around the empty parking garage, and when the warranty man finds you, you will have ended up wasting 15 minutes or more of game time. Overall 5/10: The game works. That’s about it for positives. If you want a “collect the 8 x” game, go download “Slender: The Eight Pages,” as this game is not worth anyone’s time.
