English: Indie game. Zero flash, max soul. No microtransactions — just pure vibes that screams love. You don’t play it to win, you play it to feel. Hearts go ouch... but also "aawh, good job pal." It’s quiet. It’s real. 🥂 Cheers to Bepi and to Dr. Collederas.
A really fun first person resident evil clone. Love the story of people drinking ZOMBIE WINE. Maybe the game is a bit easy, but still an enjoyable time. 10/10
keep in mind my play time is actually just over 2 hr. the game is great though! the puzzles might be on the easier side, but imo this is way better than having them be absurdly cryptic and getting stuck. combat is 10/10, there are only a few weapons but they all feel great to use. the shotty was my fav as usual. also, you can actually open doors so that was refreshing for this genre. it's a lot like Nightmare of Decay or Dead Beacon.
This game feels like a first-person version of classic Resident Evil, but with wine instead of a virus. That might sound strange, but the idea is intriguing enough to keep you playing until the end. The game is set in the classic and reliable horror mansion, complete with narrow halls, locked doors, and a maze-like layout. The story is told through notes scattered throughout, but there are a few characters you can interact with directly to keep it interesting. The gunplay is alright. It's not the most exciting, but it works well, which is what matters. The enemy design is solid too. There's a small but varied selection of monsters, each with their own mechanics. More variety wouldn't have hurt, but the game is short enough that it can get away with the monsters it has. The bosses are unique and fit thematically very well, but they're a bit too easy. That's a running theme actually. The difficulty just isn't there. Ammo is plentiful, to the point where you stop worrying about resource management entirely about 30 minutes in. I never had to make the choice between killing an enemy or running around it to conserve resources. Puzzles are sprinkled throughout, and while they’re well executed technically, they won’t surprise seasoned horror fans. Think classics like symbol matching and key hunting. The sound design is good. The music stands out, managing to be both calm and subtly unsettling, which fits the tone well. And the monsters groan and moan while shuffling their feet. Very reminiscent of Resident Evil. On the technical side, the game runs flawlessly. I experienced no stuttering, or frame drops. I did encounter crashing during my playthrough, but the developer was quick to respond and had fixed the bug shortly after. This game has an interesting concept and a solid execution. It gets the horror aesthetic right, but stumbles a bit on challenge and tension. Still, if you enjoy bite-sized horror with a creative twist and can forgive a bit of over generosity with ammo, it’s worth giving it a shot.
This game tries to go back to the origins of the survival horror genre without any useless complexity, and it works. The atmosphere is a mix of modern lighting effects with a retro/pixel art feeling that makes every scenario gorgeous. The gunplay is solid and weighty, with just the right amount of recoil and feedback. 6 hours of really enjoyable monster-killing and environmental puzzle-solving.
One Last Toast delivers a retro, spooky, atmospheric experience that explores an infected winery mansion. Its eerie environments and puzzles had me drunk on the deadly wine that fills its corridors. A fun, well crafted classic retro first-person horror game that caught me off guard with a couple of jump scares.
A fun, short, first-person Resident Evil tribute that doesn't overstay its welcome.
i need more
Very good little survival horror game, especially this dirt cheap! It's heavily inspired by RE1. It took me a little under 2 hours to 100% this game. I am usually not the guy who says a game should be harder, but this game really is very easy and there is only one difficulty in to "choose" from. The only part I died was during the endboss, in fact I had no real issue getting to him without getting damaged once. The regular zombies, which is by far the most common enemy, you can easily knife to death without getting hurt and the game gives plenty of ammo. Beside the shortness and the easy difficulty another little downside I see is that gunplay isn't great. But come on, for 4 or 2 bucks in a sale I can easily recommend this to any fan of the genre!
Very fun retro Resident Evil inspired game. If you're into that sort of thing: It's also super cheap. Enjoyed it!
