About
Warhounds is a turn-based tactical & strategy game, inspired by XCOM and Jagged Alliance, about a mercenary squad with an old-school action movie vibe. Command an elite team of bold, stylish operators, wage a campaign in an alternate-future Africa, and decide the war’s outcome mission by mission.
Calculate lines of fire and flank angle, break cover, and seize the high ground. Every turn is decided more by your planning and tactics, less - by RNG.
Combine classes: Assault, Specialist, Sniper, Machine Gunner, and Grenadier. Pick the right gear for the job, treat and extract, and protect key operatives. Take calculated risks. High combat lethality makes every decision count.
Recruit, upgrade, purchase equipment, and handle logistics, finances, medical supplies, and downtime. Choose allied factions, build relationships, gather intel, and execute covert ops. Your choices have consequences: your decisions determine your access to missions, gear, and allies.
Deploy drones, combat scanners, smoke, and optical camo. Upgrade and improve your kit to win under any conditions.
Knock out a mission in 25-40 minutes, or settle in for a long session. Customize the challenge: go for a brutal tactical hell or a light, relaxing run.
No point-blank misses - flank + close distance = 100% hit chance.
Real ballistics, destructible cover, vertical gameplay, and cone overwatch.
Mercenaries with character and mission-focused loadouts without any busywork.
Base management, contracts, budgets, allies, and consequences for your actions.
Assemble your squad. Take the contract. Decide Africa’s future beyond 2035.

Reviews
This game reminds me why I love turn-based tactics. Not because it's revolutionary.Because I can sit there for 30 seconds staring at a battlefield thinking:“Okay, if I sprint this guy here, shoot that guy, then retreat behind the wall...” And then actually do it. That's the good stuff. Warhounds has it.
game is buggy and btoken mechanics dont work and has crached multiple times. do not recommend and hit mechanic is the same as xcom.

This game is in the XCOM genre, and if you are an XCOM fan, as I am, you will appreciate this game. I found the game to be much better than some of the reviews suggested.
Its fun.
Xcom in Russia with it's own unique twists such as a cool overwatch system. I will play this for hundreds of hours.
The AI can be a little special sometimes, other than that - I keep playing and getting some fun.
Its unashamedly an xcom 2 clone, but thats no bad thing in the absence of xcom 3. Enjoying the game very much. I would like the base building to be a bit more flexible like xcom 2. Would also like to be able to skip tutorial levels. But well done, highly recommend this game.
It's mediocre but decent. The female customization options are very goonercoded though.
I am fan of XCOM and XCOM2. So this game is a refreshing take of the same genre. By tthe way, my GPU is not the latest, but it still plays well at low graphic setting.
Game is very fun and the shooting itself is feels good in this strategy game. Game reminds me of an Xcom + Jagged Alliance.
