Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 26 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Stormclouds gather over the Border Princes, unnoticed by the reclusive Wizard engrossed in the study of his profound discovery – an ancient crystal of Elven origin, together with something far more sinister…
In the grim world of Warhammer, powerful armies clash in cataclysmic battles. Orc hordes batter at the gates of the Empire, mighty bastion of humanity, whilst the twisted and malign servants of Chaos gnaw at the very fabric of society from within.
For those who can read the signs, a hideous and terrifying pattern is emerging through the haze of strife and warfare. The oracles and portents all tell of much worse to come, of an impending time of death and destruction unrivalled in the history of the world.
As the leader of the infamous Grudgebringers, you are unwittingly drawn into this insidious plot. Your mercenary army must halt the unstoppable tide of evil that assaults the Empire before all is lost. Rivers of blood will surely flow before the flood is finally stemmed, but try you must, for every sword has a part to play in the titanic struggle to destroy the servants of the Horned Rat.
This edition updates Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat to run smoothly on modern Windows systems, delivering improved stability and enhanced compatibility. A Classic game and definitely among the best Warhammer Fantasy games historically. You lead the Grudgebringers, a mercenary band in the world of Warhammer in order to achieve wealth and reputation, only to find yourself facing off against a world destroying threat in the form of the Skaven! The controls and UI take a fair bit of time to adjust to, especially for modern times as it is quite rudimentary by comparison. Players should read the manual to understand the mechanics but it is the best rendition of the tabletop rules to the PC to date. Once it clicks however, this game is wonderful, if not grotesquely difficult. Brutally hard, unforgiving and using a guide or walkthrough is suggested. However, after finishing it today, I can highly recommend it for those looking for a serious challenge and a visit to the first video game rendition of Warhammer Fantasy.
Old school game, that i still have on CD, good enough to buy it again on steam. Graphics are dated, music is still great, gameplay still has enough to keep me recommending it. 30 years after I first played it, I remembered it was hard but its probably a good thing that they dont make games like this anymore

aye yo wat up!!! dream come true!!!
Would like to recommend as re-living an old classic and its a good copy with regards massive RNG topics making it very tough and unforgiving but its quite buggy so would miss until its fixed
After owning this on PC back in the day, I had been hoping this game, as well as Dark Omen, were going to make it onto Steam! And by golly they did! Nostalgia overload for sure, and the controls are still as awkward as ever, lol. Would have been great if some hotkeys would have been added for a re-release, but I guess it's all up to mastering a classic once again.
Perfect.
Sadly the game just isn't playable. I was looking forward to playing again.
The game is really cool but there is a bug in certain mission that is really annoying and it is unstable. I have finished the game with GOG version. No bug and i used the same files fortunatly it worked but trust me gog version is better just for the bug that kills a lot of your unit
Yes
Blast from the past! My first ever warhammer PC game. Runs as one would expect - very smoothly. Issues so far include messed up enemy reinforcements timing while attempting to reinforce zhufbar - boarboyz and wolfriders just swarm the column early on, making it nigh impossible to get inside without suffering catastrophic casualties. Older version of this game allowed some precious minutes for MOST of the carts to reach the gate, which doesnt seem to be the case now, and these were already two of the hardest missions ever....
