Warhammerflair.

I finished the game in about 17 hours, and my overall impression is that it's not a bad game, but it never quite reaches its potential. The game offers a variety of heroes with different classes, but in practice they often feel more similar than expected. Most of their uniqueness comes from items that grant passive or active abilities rather than from the classes themselves. Because of that, party composition never felt particularly exciting, and the main differences between characters usually came down to their equipment and available abilities. I ended up using my starting party for the entire game. Part of that was because they were already leveled up, but the progression system also discourages experimentation. New heroes require either grinding or spending money before they become useful, while level-up stat gains are randomized. In many cases, it feels easier to recruit a hero with good stats than to rely on an existing character developing the way you want. Despite that, my original party had accumulated enough gear and abilities to compensate for the randomness, so there was little reason to replace them. The campaign is divided into three parts: Beastmen, Skaven, and Chaos. It feels as though the first two sections were designed to give players enough time to build and level multiple parties before the final campaign. The problem is that the game never really demands it. My main party was strong enough to steamroll the Skaven campaign and the Chaos forces afterward without much difficulty. By the end of the game, the dungeon design becomes noticeably shorter and easier. Whether intentional or not, it feels as though the game is rushing toward the conclusion. After dozens of similar encounters, the repetitive gameplay loop starts to wear thin, and the later missions do little to introduce new challenges or mechanics. One of my recurring annoyances was the camera. Every mission starts in a top-down view, and I had to manually adjust it every single time because I preferred playing from a different angle. It's a minor issue, but one that became increasingly tedious over the course of the campaign. The line-of-sight system for ranged attacks was another source of frustration. I frequently spent action points repositioning characters just to figure out whether they could actually shoot a target. Since action points are a limited resource each turn, this often felt more annoying than tactical. To sum it up, this is a straightforward dungeon crawler that does a decent job of letting you experience the End Times as a party of Old World heroes. However, its shallow class design, awkward progression mechanics, repetitive mission structure, and occasionally frustrating combat systems prevent it from becoming anything truly memorable. I enjoyed finishing it, but I rarely felt surprised by it. P.S. There is also a hilarious bug where you can repeatedly switch between a two-handed weapon and a shield during the same turn, causing the shield to grow larger and larger until it eventually covers the entire screen. I sincerely hope the developers never fix it, because it ended up being one of the most entertaining things I encountered during my playthrough.
fun game
Maybe the worst turn-based tactics game I ever played... and I've played a lot of them. There's nothing right in this game, fights are very basic. And somehow they managed to make the warhammer world dull and uninspiring, which I must admit is quite a feat. Don't buy it, I got it for almost free and it was still way too expensive, they should have given me money to play this thing.
