Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 25 → 7.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you like Warhammer and collecting all the games in the franchise, buy it, play it, and have fun. However, I cannot recommend this game as an ARPG game. First of all, game is too easy and the funny thing is, when you choose to play harder options, the game doesn't get any harder, only the NPCs' HP increases :D Speaking of NPC's they have the worst AI I've ever seen. They're just mindlessly running around. There is also something clunky about the gameplay that I can not describe right now, but it is always there.

Okay is the best way to describe this game. Not great, not horrible, just ok. It’s a bit tricky to have a final opinion about this game though. The game itself is not bad and the gameplay feels good, but at the same time this game is basically just a bare-bones ARPG. In the base game, you have several acts and in each one of them you battle the followers of one of Warhammer’s chaos gods (Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle, and Slaanesh), and the story is augmented with an extra DLC act where you go against the necron-like Tomb Kings. The problem is, the mobs are literally identical in the acts, so you battle the same types of enemies for each of the gods, which is like 5 to 7 types of mobs per god. The story itself is also extremely simplistic, but it's fine and serves its purpose. The quests and missions however are also nearly identical all the time – kill big mob or collect a thing. Items and stats are ok, but there's not really a crafting system in the game, other than a „boost item“ crafting type of thing. To me, this feels like it had so much potential to be a great ARPG, but they seem to have given up half-way or something. So, yeah, I will give this a positive rating and I will recommend it, because I did like it, but just be aware that this is basically a very simple ARPG with little content, and the most you'll get out of it is a quick single playthrough, which means it’s probably best to get this on a sale. It's great to see this non-40k Warhammer getting some attention though!
NEVER saw that game before 2026! I'm a Diablo fan and i love this game in the warhammer univers!
Recommending with a strong disclaimer: get it on sale for $10 or less and have a healthy obsession with Diablo-likes and/or Warhammer Fantasy. Get this one for full price or expecting too much and you won't be happy. I got it for $3 and have plenty of brain damage so I was right at home. Grab the feedbag ARPG fans, it's a top-down game where you slaughter crowds, pick up randomized loot and read tooltips for hours to feed the branch of dopamine that tunneled through your head after playing Diablo 2. It takes place in the WH universe which can tell stories that deserve to be taken seriously but just as often is paper-thin excuses for the action figures to fight. This is the latter. You're Unseen Side Character who saves the Emperor from one of the interchangeable Chaos bad guys named Slaughter Killpeople in such a way that it never meets the canon. Hey, I actually like this stuff but it's a theme park tour to punch Chaos in four flavors. An average story elevated by good voice actors and the occasional decent side character with three mild twists at the end and only one is painfully obvious. Lore is fine if unremarkable, you're the type of grognard who will get mad that the player can solo a bloodthirster or hoot when your slayer squares up at him. Chaosbane doesn't hide that it's a reskin of Diablo 3. All the characters are quick and strong, left click to build energy and right click to burn it, mix 6 skills and passives for a synergized monster blender. The best part of the game has to be the systems, the feeling of player power and the steady stream of widgets to play with satisfies the brain worms. Several pieces show up really late, I wish they'd come up in acts 1/2 and be done by the start of act 3. Balancing is all over the place, I've tried every class and found HP regen stacking on Elessa quickly made me immortal and the difficulty caps at very hard for the story, could sleepwalk through chaos 5 after it. Things go up to chaos 10 so even the broken builds have a treadmill to run on for awhile. Skills are so strong they're redundant, there's only so many ways to clear the same screen but the build diversity keeps you trying new buttons. I started with a screen clear arrow volley, got two new ones, one is really bad and the other makes Elessa meow when she fires and that's real cute, puts a smile on my face. Items are the same as everything is a stat stick and the only real choices are damage now or damage eventually and if you want a niche use secondary stat(i.e. stacking counterattack.) Unfortunately it gets worse. This game is rightly panned for asset reuse and it's no exaggeration that every act is the same map 6+ times. Occasionally a set piece tile will give you something to admire, it's funny that the game looks pretty good overall but has even less map variety than 20 year old games. This extends to enemy design, everything but god-specific demons are the same act 1 cultist models to the point that even the named story guys recycle the bloated fat man of Nurgle appearance. It's the ideal male body, you may not like it, but this is what peak corruption looks like. Enemies are dull even for ARPG crowd fodder, they'll aggro you from 1.5 screens away and run to where you *were*, ignoring you on the way. Every character has strong mobility and racing to objectives leaves these beta critters in the dust, most melee unable to touch them. Elites and bosses are better and crowd management is engaging when you fall behind the power curve, as brief and rare as that will become. There's other oddities like no names/health bars for enemies that make them feel weirdly lifeless. Some bad sound mixing hits a few cutscenes and the home camps with the stash and its super loud sparkle sparkle noise on loop. The overall story is fine but the stupid padding between plot points and the unnecessary jogging between map entrances and NPCs makes things a drag. Although Chaosbane offers the contractually obligated infinite end game via maps there's nothing to really push for past campaign clears. Hit level 50, see everything your character can do, do you want to refight a boss or two? Even for a genre based on repetition this one goes dry fast. All that said it's... fine? I feel bad mocking it, it isn't a terrible effort but it is an average one in a very crowded genre and it'd hurt to spend $30. Waiting for a sale and grabbing it for less than a sandwich hits a lot better, it's Temu-brand Diablo 3 but I had a good time. Chaosbane reminds me of the array of licensed IP games you'd see back in the Playstation 2 days where a $20 clunker might become one of your favorite guilty pleasures. For ARPG dads looking to blow off steam after work this'll hit the spot like a gas station hamburger. Gotta do something until the Grim Dawn expansion lands.
VERY similar to Diablo. Fun dungeon-crawler that gives you a loot dopamine kick often enough to keep you engaged. Dopamiiiiiiiine.
Recomendo.

As far as ARPGs go, this isn't it. Far too limited, repetitive and unremarkable to be enjoyable.
