Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 25 → 7.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Well, as a big fan of Diablo and not being able to buy-in on Diablo 4 despite trying multiple times, I stumbled upon Chaosbane. I understand there are other options available but I have to have a connection to the lore and as a fan of Warhammer 40k and discovering the fantasy side, I felt this was a good fit for me. I was not disappointed! I have 14 hours as of writing and I just completed the first campaign. Side note, I was doing some of the side activities as well, I would say the first campaign is around 10 hours or so. This is a simplified Diablo in the best way possible, the graphics look great and the gameplay is what I was looking for. Hordes of enemies to take down, skills to focus on, and learning my gameplay to tweak my gear and skills around my style. There are additional activities such as invasions, tower of chaos (my favorite), relic hunt (second favorite), boss rush. What is neat about these is that you can add modifiers to make it harder but have a better reward. This is already long, but if you enjoy Warhammer and want something similar to taste in the Diablo franchise, then this is game for you. I intend on getting the Tomb Kings DLC as I found them enjoyable in Warhammer III. Also, the lore is nice and is accurate to the world of Warhammer, it was nice learning things about the lore while enjoying the gameplay. Thanks for reading.

If You can find it in online stores for less than 2-3$, You can try it but I do not recommend to spend more money on it. When I first heard about it, I couldn't wait for the premiere. One of my favourite genres and fantasy worlds combined? Sign me in. But there it was. Microtransactions since day 1. EXP, gold boosts etc. So I gave it hard pass and bought it later when it went cheap. I've forced myself to finish campaing with one of the characters and I really mean "forced". First half an hourd seems fine but it quickly become a chore. All locations feel like a long corridor. Even if it splits sometimes, it meets again after couple of meters run. You have to stop with each wave of enemies, kill them while standing still, run again, stop, kill, run... After a while You can see it all feels and plays the same. I've tried to come back couple of times but as You can see on my hours count, I just can't. Today was the last try and I've lasted 25 minutes. I'm done. With this IP it could be something great but to be honest, it's one of the worst hack'n'slash/arpg there is. And believe me, I've tried almost all of them.
It doesn't deserve all the bad reviews. It's a decent 7/10 ARPG which is more than can be said about the last two Diablo games.
The game can be ok-ish fun for the first play through, provided that you have picked a class that you enjoy playing. It is accessible and has a bit of 'end game' elements. Game balancing is pretty terrible. Pet AI also pretty bad. I would recommend picking a ranged character. Not worth at full price. But at 90% off, I can't complain too much. Hope this helps.
It got boring already during loading
After the company Games Workshop openly supported and advocated for the murder and assassination of Charlie Kirk I will never give this company another cent. from video games to tabletop I am done with them. i may update this review dependent upon a company statement.
Warhammer: Chaosbane doesn't get a recommendation from me, but that's not to say it's worthless or bad, it's just not really doing anything special that warrants any significant time investment when there are so many other arpgs out there. However the one saving grace is that it's super easy and accessible, cost me less than £2 and is a better entry point into the genre other than telling someone to play minecraft dungeons. However if you're anything like myself in which you've played countless other arpgs games then this will just serve as a distraction at best and a shallow diablo 3 clone without the charm at worst. The game hasn't got much in the way of a visual identity, it takes plenty of warhammer enemies but they all just feel like reskins of each other, I like that we get more chaos offerings than just nurgle but they really don't do much with them. The story is barely anything and the stages are mostly all just copy paste of one particular theme per act, the amount of sewers or chaos walkways is a bit much. Combat does feel good with plenty of skills to pick from and a good amount of mobs in screen. The skill system is similar to diablo 3 but lacks any real depth. Balancing is all over the place and some characters seems to have very singular playstyles that are vastly superior to others. Loot is super uninteresting, it's especially bad as there is a low pool of stats and all gear has horrific red and green arrows so you don't even bother checking the items. Just slap whatever is green and you're good to go. So yeah...bit on the shallow side and not much going on for endgame either, not a bad game and certainly a great entry point for those that don't want to sell their house to buy diablo 4.

Yet again, fantastic GW IP, delivered in a completely underwhelming game.
