Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground

Roguelike games get thumbs down. That's the rule. Except Darkest Dungeon, the one roguelike that managed to be fun.

pros: very nice graphics and level design cons: awkward mechanics and controls that just dont make me want to paly it.

I bought this on the major winter sale so my threshold is pretty high, but still giving this a negative review and asking for a refund. There's a pretty egregious bug where enemy units can spawn right on top of your own units, effectively locking out your unit and making it very difficult to target the enemy. The combat itself is also very slow and plodding, if they had sped up the load times for each action this would have resolved that. I did enjoy the leveling up and campaign system.

The difficulty spike is just absurd, and you can't retry the mission you have failed. You have to slog through the easy parts (5 missions) before you are just wiped away again. The last time the enemy on move two, hit my hero for 15 points of damage (three of the six units they had). And I could deal around 1-2 damage a round to them. and they had around 12 hit-points. That is just stupid and impossible to win.

Но механика реализации просто раздражительная: - Очень мало разновидностей предметов - Описание предметов скудно и не всегда понятное - Очень неудобный интерфейс, особенно это заметно, когда появляется много предметов. - Нужно гриндить предметы, чтобы выбить нужный для прохождения, и они не выпадают - Прокачка войск ограничена 3 уровнями, что достигается очень быстро и по сути уровни влияют только на количество навыков, но их надо гриндить. При этом навыки взаимоисклюсающие, что не в итоге не дает их использовать. - Очень неудобно смотреть свойства отряда, все выглядит одинаково, что сильно бесит в геймплее.

I got this game for 1.40$. It's an alright Warhammer game, I suppose. Nothing really that great. A lot of Warhammer games are better than this one. Total Warhammer, Space Marine 2, Chaos Gate, Dawn of War.....etc. Even Dawn of War 3 is a better game than this. It's extremely repetitive. There is no real campaign for all 3 different factions. And you just keep replaying the same maps with different skins (Nurgle, Stormcast Eternals and Nagash faction). But I think it's worth it for that price (1.40$). Other than that, it's not worth it. It's okay to pass the time until better Warhammer games arrive, I suppose.
