great game but seems to suffer form the same thing alot of Warhammer games do, great devs but terrible management. This game has so much potential but i fear we may have another Eternal Crusade situation on our hands :\
Disappointing, to say the least. It's really a shame there wasn't more done with the game. It's honestly beautiful, and "plays" very well on my Steam Deck. Graphics are sharp and colorful, I get a steady 45FPS, sound is filling, but...there just isn't ant game here. I got this game based on the trailer, which made it looked fun and action packed. Like Burnout with Orcs. But there's no campaign, nothing really to do as a single-player. There are maps, which the game can supposedly populate with bots, but I didn't see that explained anywhere. I've read that multiplayer is also dead, but I'm not a multiplayer type of person, so can't corroborate that. Overall, I don't *think* I paid for the game, so it's not a total waste, except for seeing what a great game it *could* have been, with more actual content, instead of what it comes across as; a mobile type game with console graphics, wrapped in free-to-play aesthetics, but that now costs money and that no one plays. Yep, disappointing.
No PVE is crazy. Especially since the tutorial has bots. Like just make a more fleshed out bots match mode. Really small player base and only 2 game modes? There's just not enough reason to get invested in this IMO. Might be fun if you have some dedicated friends to play with.
7/10 This game is super fun but held back pretty badly by two things. 1) Its a game that's perfect for controllers with barely any controller support. Driving on controller feels like a poor version of vehicles from Halo. It works yes, but the responsiveness is horrendous. Driving with a controller feels horrible and that makes no sense for a game seemingly made for controllers like Twisted Metal. 2) No servers at all. It's completely P2PMM so it requires someone to be hosting the game which just feels very weird for a multiplayer title like this. With that said it plays very well with KBM and the game itself is very fun if you like games like Twisted Metal.
This game is for those of a much more refined taste that that of your average gamer. The wonderful nuances of the gameplay leads to a perfect experience for those that can master the elegant mix between the stunning movement and excellent gunplay. This game has truly increased my understanding of what it means to enjoy video games. To all those who may think of playing this beautiful experience i shall wish you much dakka and a wonderful waagh.
Waaaagh!!!
