About

Begin your adventure aboard your personal, giant voidship, traveling between the multitude of systems within the Koronus Expanse, a barely charted and incredibly perilous region of space. Despite being considered a backwater of the Imperium, this region encompasses an enormous stretch of the void, filled with dangerous creatures and prodigious opportunities for profit and exploration.

Rogue Traders never travel alone. Gather your retinue of righteous heroes, twisted psykers, and perfidious xenos. All of them are ready to follow you into the darkness between the stars. They will offer you counsel, aid you in battle, and allow you to amass ever more power. In return, you can guide them through their own personal journeys, changing their destinies forever.

During quests show your subjects mercy or disdain, stay faithful to the God-Emperor, or consort with enemies of Mankind - your every decision and every act, even in character creation, is changing the in-game open world and those who inhabit it.

Slaughter the enemies of Mankind in a fully-fledged isometric turn-based tactical combat. Take advantage of cover, the environment, and careful positioning to overpower your enemies. When that is not enough - use your companion`s powerful abilities to turn the tide of battle and achieve victory even in the direst of situations. Our video game adaption of the classic Rogue Trader ruleset allows an enormous number of possibilities for you to explore.

Worst implementation of line of sight rules I've seen in any tactical rpg thus far. Enemies shooting through solid walls while you can't shoot back, happens in almost every other combat. I really tried to like the game and everything around it seems to be fine, but this is such a fundamental game mechanic that it simply cannot be ignored.
I am not very familiar with 40K lore, but this game does a really good job presenting it in a digestible way. The architypes all feel very unique and are fun in their own ways. Story seems very strong so far. Voice acting is surprisingly good. On the surface, character creation seems a little overwhelming... but it is not nearly as complicated as it seems, just slightly more complex than other similar CRPGs. One thing of note: if you are playing co-op, the host is in control and the others are along for the ride. Doesn't bother me personally, but I'm sure that will be a negative for someone.
I neat idea ultimately dragged down by RNG nonsense and tedious, slow battles that all feel the same. The abilities are uninteresting and the auto save is awful.
I would recommend this game to players who like punishment. The inventory system is a chore and the character progression is needlessly complex. And finally, the reason I'm going to the bother here, there's an inconceivably stupid difficulty spike after Chapter 1. Minor spoilers: You go from fighting hordes of Chaos cultists, including a Tzeentch Screamer and a Chaos Marine, both of which weren't particularly challenging, to fighting street gangs on Footfall, which will curbstomp you like you were nothing. Very frustrating, breaks the immersion of the game. Does no one play test their games anymore?
Can't play co-op without dysyncs every few minutes. Even during the turn-based battles which really shouldn't be hard to keep synchronized.
May the Emperor Protect Me. Be the fire in my heart!
It took me a grand total of 178.5 hours just to finish my first playthrough. I can say without a doubt that this is the best game, and story, that I've ever played, it is fantastic in just about every way. Everybody should play through this game, at least once in their life. I will be playing this game for many more playthroughs 1,000/5 stars!
If you want to play a multiplayer game play BG3. You will face on stop constant desync issues and disconnects from the server which kills full enjoyment.
