About
After millennia of slumber, Vargard Nefershah mobilises her dynasty’s legions to annihilate the Adeptus Mechanicus interlopers who unknowingly settled upon her world. Across the galaxy, Magos Dominus Faustinius is summoned to bring his hard-won expertise to bear and ensure the Necrons do not succeed. The conflict soon becomes a crucible of unanticipated significance, drawing to it external actors stranger and more deadly still.
Two playable factions, two narrative campaigns, two highly unique play-styles and one important choice – who will you lead to victory in this arcane technological war of cold metal hatred?

Assemble your force, deploy your warriors and crush your enemies in intense turn-based tactical battles. To succeed you’ll need to master and adapt to each faction’s unique abilities and playstyles, as well as the diverse range of combatants at each side’s disposal.
New environmental mechanics require you to maneuver like never before. Play to your chosen faction’s strengths and weaknesses – take cover behind terrain as the Mechanicus, or destroy it as the Necrons.

Fight for control of an entire world, capturing and defending regions from the forces of the foe while generating and managing crucial resources.
Race against the Sankhotep dynasty’s global awakening and drive back their deathless legions as the Mechanicus, or defend the tombs of your people as the Necrons and crush the verminous interlopers.

Deploy and upgrade a characterful entourage of Tech-Priest leaders as Magos Dominus Faustinius, or customise your own court of Necron nobles as Vargard Nefershah.
Manage each of your territory’s garrisons and assemble your forces wisely for each mission, choosing from a vastly expanded selection of fighters from each faction’s range.

Sublime music and audio design by critically acclaimed composer Guillaume David will once again transport you to the grim darkness of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
Incredible illustrations combine with highly detailed and authentic environments and characters to bring the Warhammer 40,000 universe to awe-inspiring life.

Veteran author Ben Counter, best known for his Black Library novels, returns to tell the next chapter of the Mechanicus saga. Atone for past failures as Faustinius in his ongoing war against the ancient Necron species, and follow the inexorable rise of Vargard Nefershah as she seeks to reclaim the dynasty’s crownworld from the Adeptus Mechanicus.
Experience an epic conflict skilfully woven over multiple campaigns, replete with narrative events. Your choices will shape not just the course of the war, but its climactic outcome.

horrible ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. I left it open and fell asleep or else id request a refund
I'd say this game is a solid sequel that builds on the first game and nicely continues the story. I got this within a few days of release and have chipped away at it over a few weeks. I've just finished both campaigns and really enjoyed it. Didn't have any technical or stability issues and the gameplay changes from the first game made it fresh. It's not the same, but it's a nice evolution that added enough to keep me interested through to the end. For those that don't know: the main gameplay change from the first one is that you now only take a single tech-priest (or necron lord) into each mission, and fill up the rest of your deployment budget with disposable troops, like skitarii or necron immortals. Each tech-priest or necron lord has their own defined upgrade paths, adding new skills and weapons, rather than the loot-based system from the first. There are a bunch of other changes, like how missions play out, and I'd say they're all either OK at worst or an improvement. For example, the events that happen during missions no longer just seem like a needless punishment system and let you play a bit more with risk vs reward. An absolute highlight was how pissy the necron lords are to each other. A nice change from the pompous mechanicus.
Worth playing overall. 7/10 on its own, 8/10 as a 40k title, 6/10 as a sequel. PROS: -Tight and creative tactical gameplay that gives you plenty of options -Customization options for your Techpriests/Necron Lords that don't break the game -AdMech AND Necron campaign, with great voice acting and interesting story for both factions -Cool atmosphere and premise, great if you just want to see the AdMech being AdMech and the Necrons being Necrons CONS: -Too long! Or rather, too much padding. The side missions are necessary to strengthen your characters and build up your faction strength, but they have a tendency to derail the narrative, which is pretty lengthy -The soundtrack, while good, doesn't really improve on the first game. It feels like "Children of the Omnissiah" got all the shine, while other bangers like "Noosphere" and "Millennial Rage" were tossed out. -On rails too often compared to the last game. This game is much bigger in terms of scale but you lose some of your freedom to min-max -Speaking of min-maxing, your customization options for Tech-priests are SEVERELY limited compared to the previous game. It really feels like there are only 1-2 viable builds per character and the game forces you down those routes, rather than letting you mix and match. Overall great game, TECHNICALLY "better" than the first in that it's bigger and more balanced, but it loses some of that special 'lightning-in-a-bottle' the first game had. Here's hoping for a good DLC!
it was an enjoyable game so i played it for an hour or two
repetitive, but I liked it
Thoroughly enjoying this game. Finished the Mechanicus campaign and halfway through the Necron one. Very enjoyable to play both sides and see the different mechanics. Voice acting is superb.
Great story, fun game and will for DLCs in the future. Only downside is it does crash every now and then. Just a little more than Id like but still into it
I think the main problem with this game is one of its strongest selling points. The sense of scale is much grander, for better and worse. If you want to lead a spearhead against an massive opposing force, capturing chunks of the planet over a long, grand campaign, great! If you preferred the close, more intimate dungeon crawling tactics of the original, too bad. I personally enjoyed it, though I can understand why people wouldn't prefer it to the original. I still think its worth playing if you're a fan of tactical combat in the Warhammer setting, but it lacks the sense of scale of other Warhammer games and isn't as tight and controlled as you'd expect. I think an endgame battle where I defeated 20+ units within three turns, ending the fight sums it up. There are more enemies but they go down easy.
é bão po compra
Its great! Especially if you enjoyed the first one!
