This game doesn't play like a polished RTS game. It is slow and feels like a hero lane game.

almost every time i fkin do an elite skill with an hero i crash bro , what the hell is that game i cant finish a single skirmish match without crashing non stop , man i would kinda a lil maybe not too sure like the game but man this is pure trash , having a 3080 here with i5 14k and 32 gig of ram not my rig for sure , this game is a mess. and i did the campain like 3 maps and fk is sucked badly and now cant even do skirmish, im fked dude. huge fan of wh 40k lore but this is game is a mess and i feel like they stole my money and butt fked me big time. dont buy this pos and wait too see for the 4th hopin they wont mess it up.

every dawn of war after the 1st got further and further away from what made dawn of war so good. this is not even dawn of war anymore. just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hero squad type game.

i rarely leave reviews, so when i say this is one of the worst games i've wasted my time on, and is so bad i felt compelled to warn people away from it, i mean it. just some of the "highlights" include: the design choice - this is cartoonish; from the artwork to the animations, this is a step backward from DoW2, most comically of all being the main hero/elite unit, despite being 8 feet tall and weighing half a ton, looking like a clown running on ice... the UI - everything from button layout to info panels, it was either illogical, different from both previous entries in the series, or things just straight-up removed from the previous games storyline - disjointed, switching between each faction after every mission so you don't build any connection with any character, and even parts of the story of the first game just straight copy-pasted, including some parts word-for-word the same. gameplay - you have a population cap, but good luck getting there. you also get an income tax based on your current population - the more units you have, the slower your requisition and power come in. cannot recommend people avoid this enough. do not ever waste your money. watch someone else who has already wasted their money playing the game so you get what pitiful and meaningless storyline you can from this, and move on.
